I went to all three nights at the United Center last month, and every night they played bust out songs that hadn’t been played in as many as 550 shows, all of which I’ve been chasing for my 31 shows. Anyone interested in or has curiosity about jam bands like Phish that have the same type of loving and supportive community, would LOVE the band Pigeons Playing Ping Pong 🏓 they have a much smaller community so its way less intimidating, but the liveliness of their performance, light show corresponding with the music, collective psychedelic experiences, it is truly so beautiful. I was never into that type of music but my fiancé loved them so I would listen to these songs and I just...didn't click with it. It was annoying to be honest. But he wanted me to go to a show with him early in our relationship so I said yeah okay sure. I'm very very glad that I wasn't so close minded because this band was made to be heard LIVE, BABY! It was fucking fantastic. Highly reccomend, and you do NOT need to trip or be interested in psychedelics to enjoy the show.
