rear lower control arms are on upside down. they are called high clearance arms for a reason so they don't hang that low. they should be bent just like the front.
@erikradzins8 жыл бұрын
I flipped them around. :) Thanks for the catch guys.... got another video dropping, with all sorts of jeep carnage! :)

I didn't do the whole drill and install crush sleeve thing for the rear brackets. I used the two bolts that go in from the bottom and welded the rest of the bracket on.
@erikradzins8 жыл бұрын
I thought about doing that, I might still do it. :)
@kwhites10128 жыл бұрын
Awesome vids! Subscribed! Pretty sure the lower rear arms are on upside-down. The arch should face up for more ground clearance. Can't wait to see it's maiden beat down.

put some LOKKA lunchbox lockers in it so it can actually climb something. The best value in a 4x4 is it actually being a 4x4, LOKKA will fix you up for about 500.00, best money spent

It had lunchbox lockers in the front and rear! ;)

I paid $250 for the Jeep itself, and turned it into an amazing offroad toy for about $3300 total investment. I ended up selling it for $4500, so made a nice little profit too

31" and it was a 6" long arm kit. WAIT till you see what I bought next... a military 6x6!!!! (subscribe and follow along that build)
@maxyost77377 жыл бұрын
So I'm going to lift my zj and I'm deciding between this lift the 4 in long arm kit or the obs 6 in long arm lift. Its a 500$ price difference.
@erikradzins7 жыл бұрын
If I did it again, I wouldn't do the long arm. I would do the biggest lift I could that mounted in the stock location. Hope that helps.
@maxyost77377 жыл бұрын
Erik Radzins what is the reason?
@erikradzins7 жыл бұрын
Ground clearance. I don't like the mounting locations on the long arm system. (its below the frame) Where the standard mounts would be tucked up in the factory locations.
