Damn, the kid in me remembers a lot of these shortcut levels haha. What a time being a kid. Glad they remastered it! Edit: Around the 5:43 mark, there is another short cut. As soon as you’re going up the ramp, if you get the 3 boost, you can literally jump from the middle ramp to get to the top

Threading the death barrier-needle in Oxide Station (5:46)

Hot Air Skyway. 1 shortcut you missed. Its the parallel straigth path. From there, right after the first straight, turn back and gain some mementum to jump to the other side of the straight path. Using this, we can widen the gap so wide or insanely close the gap to the opponent in front of us.

Those drift turbos and shortcuts were not even introduced to us in our childhood cause the ps1 was not connected to the internet... And cheat codes were not even heard of... The only cheat i got to know was the 'savestate>> loadstate' for boss level races on PC emulator!!😢

The Blizzard Bluff fence jump and Hot Air Skyway sharp turn jump look much easier now, maybe cause of the reduced “invisible walls” around these areas? Also the square hole in NGin labs are much easier too. Back then Ultimate Sacred Fire was the only speed fast enough to jump across it, not even the mask enhanced sacred fire could make it across. Now that kind of speed is enough to do so

And sadly I love that track. Without the shortcuts you can still go insanely fast if you dodge the swinging logs fast.
