Same, spend hundreds maybe even thousands of hours ingame as a kid with my brother and we found only few of them, technically said only the very obvious ones ... It's a wow feeling to see that some parts of circuits that you thought could be abused but never found a way how so you gave up ... are actually abusable :D :D ie. the fence in the Pinstripe Sky level, I always though it's not that high so it would be cool to jump over it ... and now I see that it's actually possible, just from the other way :D :D :D

I knew all of the intended ones but the broken ones seem so obvious now. I just never looked for them. Great video. Especially on the Pyrimad track I was blown away because that was my favorit track that I played so much. Like for example the super obvious one were you cut the last turn completely. That looks so easy and obvious. How did I miss that.

If you played time trial mode against the ghost N Trophy and then N Oxide, the last one did some of the biggest shortcuts displayed on this vid during his run, most of the times he did a x3 lap shortcut and you had to emulate him while being faster and with no item assistance. Pretty brutal.

time flies :) me and my friends always know this tricks before youtube era, those are really fun memories. i hope they didn't patch all this tricks in nitro fuel. the fun in ctr is to using this tricky shortcut. some of them is reaaaaally hard to do and makes you die several times before make it, so it's really have it's price :D

If you can do all those shortcuts which need speed booster with only turbo from drifting (without turbo or papu-papu from crates), you can beat Oxide's ghost in time trial mode.

I played this game countless times in the early 2000s and i thought i knew all the shortcuts. But ive never seen those two shortcuts at Coco Park, those three amazing shortcuts at Papu Pyramid, one at Hot Sky Air, another one at Oxide stage, and the pass through rubber tires at Slyde Coliseum. And that unbelievable shortcut at 1:55

@@bunnyfreakz reserve is the core system of ctr, full gauge turbo is the most basic thing of ctr, sacred fire is not a glitch it's due to reserve and created by naughty dog, 99.9% of players are just bad because they never understood the gameplay. Only saffi fire is a glitch exploit. They can remove glitch i dont care, but no reserve = no ctr

I remember when I found out that Penta Penguin, who had the perfect stats, was only unlockable with a cheat code. I had played countless hours as Tiny Tiger, Dingodile and others with the top speed (but poor steering) capabilities to beat all the time trials with an extremely good time. And all with fair play. Man, was I ever pissed off! Because you could still do better as the penguin

On Nitro Fueled, some of these game-breaking shortcuts can no longer be done, even at 5:55 they made the wall higher and impassible. Some of the cheats work however but getting boss characters via cheat code like Pinstripe and N. Tropy cannot be done

HistorySkate I think they’ll keep the ones that were BUILT IN shortcuts. You know, shortcuts that were actually MEANT to be in the game. But I don’t think any of the ones that are glitches shortcuts will be returning. They’ll likely patch those. As for the cheat codes, I imagine they’ll be bringing new ways to earn those additional racers(PLUS NEW ONES), so we won’t need codes for them. (I don’t know who Penta Penguin is. I’ve never heard of that character in the Crash Bandicoot universe). And the other codes for cheats...I don’t think those will be making a return. They didn’t in the Spyro: The Reignited Trilogy.

Dudo completamente que en nitro fueled la mayoria de los atajos del video puedan realizarse, supongo que la diferencia de glitches en el remake sera MUY distinta al original y Bennox si mal no lo escribi pondra atención a eso, o almenos eso creo para hacer más "justas" las carreras sobre todo por el online y que los codigos de las armas turbos y todo eso solo serán disponibles para el modo un jugador o a lo mucho versus batalla

Yo desde luego espero que bloqueen algunos atajos. Tal vez que dejen algunos de los convencionales como los de Cala Crash, el de las Tuberías (hace mucho que no juego y no recuerdo los nombres xD), o el del Castillo Cortex. Pero ya esos como la Estación Oxide, Paso Polar, o el de Coco ya no. Romperían demasiado las carreras sobretodo en online. Recuerdo que en el Mario Kart 7 se abusaba mucho de un atajo muy roto antes de que lo parchearan. Y los códigos como dices, si los ponen que al menos sea para el modo solitario.

Agreed, though personally I think they should keep a lot of the sneakier ones, as long as they don't require you to go backwards. Like 2:32. With normal physics, that would be very hard to execute and you should be rewarded if you can pull it off.
