Lmao! I was watching this video, and found it very interesting. About half way through, (3:40 ) I hear a sad chorus of, "awwww" through my headphones. I look over my shoulder and 3 of my youngest kids, (2, 4, and 5) were all apparently watching my phone from behind the back of the couch im sitting on. They all have a STRONG love for pandas. So apparently, that video clip of a panda head drew plenty of sympathy for the stagnant subscriptions when the channel first started. 😁🙌👏🙌👏

I really love your channel for covering parts of history or aspects that usually aren't covered such as hunter gatherer's, the stone age etc I often like to put your videos on in the background while I do something else because they're very calm and easy to follow. A lot of history tends to focus on the late medieval and early modern era so it's cool to see the really ancient stuff and also with a good spread around the world. You also manage to give some feeling to the subjects you cover so you almost feel like you're transported back to those times but you don't dramatize things to achieve this. I wish you good luck going forward and look forward to everything you make in the coming year!

Neolithic society is so curious. Just got done watching an archaeology vid about a wooden stonehenge just north of the stone site, and that they made a pilgrimiage down the river to go bury the ashes at stone henge, for stone is forever. So cool to learn about!

I've been here since like 5-6k subs and thus I always thought of your channel as a smaller one that deserved much more recognition. Never really looked at your subcount again. When I saw you had uploaded this video, my first thought was something along the lines of: "What?! 250k? It surely cannot be.". I have no idea if I should say "Congrats on getting to where you are now just by following your passion and making it your full-time job." or "Thank you for following your passion and sharing it with all of us as your full-time job.", so I'll just leave both here. Also, about Sci-Fi Hub, you mentioned it's not just for sci-fi, but also for fantasy, so... is there any hope for me that you might expand it to include some works that are about fictional world and their histories that are otherwise pretty realistic, without fitting into either category currently covered by that channel?

I also majored in History and didn't want to teach. It took a while for me to learn that my personality is the opposite of what I'd thought, and I should spend more time on my writing and other creative pursuits because that's where my personality strengths lie. That explained why I never liked any job for very long, too. Then I discovered that driving is actually a pretty good job for creative types, and since U.S. truckers are reasonably well-paid I do that. Soon I'll have my school debt paid off and be able to devote a little money to creative projects, instead of just spare time. I need to figure out a good way to work historical topics into Minecraft videos (my channel is a gaming channel.)

Master Kelly, your next place needs to have wall to wall bookcases in each room, by either period or era. Then a person whose has a brilliant mind at organisation (me), needs to come in and arrange it all, in order for your video's to not be held up by mundane tasks like filing, shuffling, sorting, replacing! It is hard to wait for the next one, and yes by the looks of it, you need to find a bigger place to work and a much better file system than boxes. Hallo from Denmark mister Pete Kelly and congratulations. Now I havent been around since the early days . As I mentioned earlier . I found the channel on pure coincidence. I watched one video , then another . And after that I was a fan . Around the end of 2018 . Thats when I subcribed to history time . But then People like you mister Kelly started to inspire me to create stuff . But thats in more text based form on Facebook . I am co-admin on a danish doctor who group(gotta love the Timelord from Gallifrey ) and I am content creator on a danish superhero group . There last year I created a segment called Random Facts . Where I present facts about superheroes and the sources behind the creation of that curtain chracters within the Marvel and Dc universes. And that segment really took off . So much that the admin in that group and I Now create them together ..... I write the text and do the research . He edits the final texts . And then I puplish it ...So thank mister Kelly for being a source if inspiration ....
