I like using Multi surface acrylic for coverage, and a second coat is always acceptable. Great save.

They all turned out pretty good. When you add the sprinkles you should wait for the resign too thicken a bit and the sprinkles will not sink as bad. I like the gold around the spirals. Have a great night. ❤❤

Love how these all came out! I wouldn’t have thought to add the gold marker to the conch shell, but it came out amazing! I’ve worked with sprinkles quite a bit in my resin crafts, but have found that the nonpareils sprinkles work best as the shape really allows the sprinkles to get in all the nooks and crannies. I’ve also had issues where the sprinkles sink, so I try to add more sprinkles to really fill up the molds to the top. It takes a bit of patience, but it’s worth it. Nice save with the paint on the pumpkin. It never occurred to me to try that. I’ve got some stuff I need to go back and try that on! Thanks as always for sharing your resin crafts!

I like the conch, I bet it would be cute with gold leaf. I do prefer it with just the edge done. The paint was definitely an improvement. Maybe put rafia around the center tied into a messy bow. Or even a narrow orange ribbon?

Had I known I would’ve packed it completely full of sprinkles so there was no “extra” resin to give it wiggle room. I’ve done that with sand and it worked.

I've only run into one brand of silver sprinkles that runs. It turns into a really cool, drying blood color of red. They're fun to use with geodes, but otherwise, I've never had any trouble using pearls, sprinkles and sparkles for baking.

A air dry clay boundary Would help you? Just put a little strip of clay where you don't want the resin to flow until the resin you already have in their dries, then remove the clay and finish pouring

You can fill turtle head with modeling or polymer clay, and remove it after the rest cures.

I like conch shell with the spirals and I thought you did a great save on the pumpkin. On the turtle you could’ve also done the intense chameleon in the head to hide the sprinkles although I’m sure it’s kinda hard to get that in the head.

If you put Silly Putty (the one that comes in an egg) to block off the entrance to the head that will stop the resin. Then when it's cured just remove the Silly Putty (resin won't stick to it.)

You could prop the head end of the turtle up on something just enough to make the resin run away from the head a little it works with the turtle mold I have like that

I have put sprinkles in resin for a few years now, they never ever deteriorate either, they never have with the many different ones I have used. I have used in trinkets, soap dishes, coasters, wall plaques etc.

Omg so cute as always, love the sprinkles.....make me want cake hahah,😂😂 great save at the bottom of the pumkin...other ideas you could have gone over it in green to match the stem as pumpkins go green to orange anyway, you could have either used glue and green foil that would have given the shiny match, or you could have just used the same mica powder over some black paint? To avoid seeing brush strokes, mix the acrylic paint with a little bit of pva glue mixed with water mix or use a sponge brush 😁🤩 The 🐢 was cute as, I need to find out how much it costs to have things shipped from you to me, I know my old employer does delivery's and are pretty reasonable, I might get in touch and see if they still do it? Oooooooo, I think other than aquamarine blue, the violet is my 2nd favorite color. OOOOOO funky turtle!!! Seems like your 2nd pour was much thinner - the first pour was so thick, I don't think it had a chance to sink. GOOD SAVE though. You can tell people it's a new veggie, half egg plant, half pumpkin LOL. Oh, I have used "sprinkles" before, but they were fake plastic sprinkles LOL.
