He was being frugal with his words which is a good thing in general but in this case he only had one word left for them to guess and 5 words left to use so he definitely should've said opposite! He may not have realized all of this under all that pressure! Although he lost he's clearly a much stronger player than all the players who squander away their words by using "synonym" and "opposite" unnecessarily and unthinkingly!!!!!
