Mary, that was fantastic, I love those gold silver and white markers. Use a lot of their bins for my stamps and even some dies. Been hoping to find the dies they are now selling. No luck yet. But, I did buy 10 of the larger wooden bins to glue together, then paint for ink pad storage. Not sure how to video but your more than welcome to preview it on your channel. I bought one ink pad storage shelf and it cost $95 shipped. Way to pricy for all of my different ink collections. Tfs. Blessings!

I wished I'd watched this before going to Walmart yesterday, since I was looking for a silicone mat to make nuvo enamel dots. I've used acetate that I saw on HedgehogHollow and it didn't work so well. They spread out too much. Instead I got glue dots and made the enamel dots and it worked great. So now I can make any color I want since I got a ton of nuvo drops for Christmas. Thank you so much Mary. Need to go to DT and check out some of these crafting items.

And use your paper trimmer to cut away haggled edges from what’s left of the folder, that dotted sheet could be used for die cuts(probably not thin ones) or other embellishments, or labels for the clear three section boxes, it was really cute and could still be useful!

BTW, a lot of hole punches can be adjusted by the screws if your project gets stuck or if you want to change the thickness. I hope you saved the sequins from that folder. Would make a cute shaker card. You probably shook some of them up under the punches, which made what you were cutting even thicker. Sequin material does not punch ( tried it once). I would use some fancy duck tape on the button pouch to seal the ends if I were you. We happen to have an industrial sealer, bought really cheap at an auction, it would seal them. I have used it for shaker pouches. Love your videos! Thanks for sharing!

Along the lines of the button envelopes/folders, I found zipper envelopes/pouches. They are also plastic, but have a Ziploc-style slider closure. (Not like a clothing zipper.) They easily hold several sheets of up to letter-size (8-1/2x11") paper. They are also gusseted, and so can expand to maybe 1/2" thick or so. I recently had a large card order, and had to keep several colors of cardstock sheets & scraps organized & corralled. The pouches worked beautifully! As for the photo paper, I would NOT recommend it for printing photos. Obviously not alcohol inks, either. :) BUT, there is a cool technique you can do on it with Distress Oxide inks. Do ink smooshing, drying the paper between layers to keep the colors from muddying. (If you use a heat tool, keep in mind that you will warp the paper. If you keep the tool moving, though, it shouldn't warp too too badly.) When you're done, you can even stamp images on top with dark Oxide ink. (I have used Black Soot for that step, though I think any dark color would work.) Make sure the ink is thoroughly dry, then wipe over it (lightly) with a baby wipe. Don't scrub, though! You'll have to wipe it a few times, using different (clean) parts of the baby wipe to keep the colors from smearing much. The colors just magically turn from chalky & dull to bold & shiny. It's basically the same technique Tim Holtz demonstrated with glossy cardstock & Distress Micro Glaze. Just a LOT cheaper! Best part? You can get a total of 32 A2-size (quarter-sheet) panels from one $1 pack of photo paper from Dollar Tree! Full disclosure--this is not my original idea. I learned this from another gal at Splitcoaststampers. Anyway, thanks for sharing your fun & CHEAP finds, Mary. Take care, & I hope you have a fantabulous day! :)

For that folder that you had a hard time with cut that end off , punch the single side and the other side and install them and your happy planner together you still get the same folder effect. Unless of course that is the part that holds in the Shaker folder material. For that I would just use the wood burning like tool "specific name"that's used to make individual pockets by melting you, said it in your video and I cannot remember the name LOL. From the dollar store I really used to love their magazine holders they were sturdier cardboard than Ikea's cardboard and so many wonderful colors I would use those to store my project ideas like you did on that plastic one. Personally I can't stand storage with large edges that take up valuable space. Thanks for sharing.

For the button folder that u cut the ends off to b able to put t in ur planner/binder. I have seen where they take a piece of parchment paper about 3 inches wide & the length of the plastic. The folded the paper in half long ways & put it over the cut end. Then they took a flat hair straightener & went up & down the edge of the parchment & the plastic sealed. They took the same parchment & placed it on the other open end & did the same. Now u can put items inside & they won't fall out.

On your last project with the folder you can save the sequin and use them for a shaker card

I use Dollar Tree Finger Paint paper for my alcohol inks. You get about 20 sheets (I think) that are huge & can easily be cut down.

Ok, I've heard this far too many times for me NOT to have tried it. I'm on it next time I go! Thank you Laura

Great ideas. I use an old “ booger sucker” that you use on babies. Washed out, of course! LOL. TFS

Such great ideas!! For the button folder I would either seal it with red line tape-also can find it at the dollar store-or use washi tape on the edges, will add a little decoration! Just subscribed, will check out your other videos!! TFS!!
