My examples. 1)Blatantly, getting enough sleep is so critical in order to feel more productive the next morning . 2)If you keep practicing your English on a regular basis the improvements will be exponential. 3)I really abhor people who are ruthless because they can be a bit pugnacious. 4)My mom always gives me great advice so l try my best to heep them. 5)Commenting on other people's appearance can be wrongly construed . 6)My sister has such a zest personality. 7)My brother can be a little bit nitpicking sometimes especially when l cook something (this is so true😂) 8)It has always been my dream to live in a quaint house in a tiny village in England. 9)My math teacher has a knack for explaining convoluted math concepts in a fun way ,Although,l find her classes a bit long-winded. 10)When you're writing an essay or an email you must make sure that it's not verbose just focus on the key points to avoid sounding wordy. 12)When l was in elementary school some of the kids would ostracize me from playing with them. 13)learning other languages can be a milestone for you to communicate with people from all around the world and get your foot in the door. 14)I was utterly flabbergasted when my friends threw a birthday party for me . 15)Xenophobia is one of the most terrifying feelings against foreign people . Thank you guys for another stunning and useful lesson it really helped me to improve my vocabulary dramatically.🥰

Here's my sentences: I really abhor arrogant people/ arrogance makes me feel abhorrence. I heed some advice my mom has given to me. They're told me that I have a knack for explaining myself in a writing contest. I am not long winded. I am accurate, always to the point. So I decide to publish my first post on this newspaper site, even though I am not a journalist jargon. I was struggering when I saw my last gas bill. The price goes extremely high since the energy crisis started. Last week I visited with my family a lovely quaint little village near the river. Two hours distance from home It's like time has stopped upon that place! Racism sexism and xenophobia are some of the worst components of a human character. I love how kids play in the playground on Sunday morning! 💓 They enjoy playing with such a zest!

Call me cynical. But using any such words to sound more advanced is asinine. Translation: Employing particular words in order to appear more sophisticated than you really are demonstrates a level of false sophistication. One sentence is more nuanced and a bit more precise, and the other sentence seriously gets the message across in an unmistakably colloquial way. More often than not ... any attempt to sound more advanced ends up failing, unless your audience is as dumb as a rock.

@@RealLifeEnglish1 - Developing vocabulary is at least as important as communicating as much as possible with the fewest words possible, which will always win points for me. There's never a good reason to be deliberately verbose. But in this day and age, verbosity seems to be the goal, rather than communicating. This is very easily enabled by the new woke vocabulary. The worst example I know of is Joe Biden, who can neither use words judiciously, nor communicate anything worth listening to.
Good at English, but still feel FEAR of Speaking?
