Something I see quite often online is people intentionally jump scarring their cats. Unless you and your cat have had that type of play, back and forth, between each other, do not just randomly start jump scarring your cat. If you all of a sudden start jump scarring your cat, especially just for those views, you are causing undue stress. That will lead to distrust. And most likely behavioral issues. While the human laughs and thinks it's funny, the cat just doesn't understand why their person would make them feel unsafe and vulnerable. Edit: I have always raised my cats with free feeding and have never had an issue with any of them becoming overweight.

@@kkotheracountnstuff8209 Well, Is the dog comfortable around the cats and are the the cats comfortable with the dog because quite often, cats and dogs can feel quite anxious when in an uncomfortable situation without their owner the to make them feel safe but if they are completely fine with each other then sure. Just don't leave them alone for too long because even when around other animals, pets can get lonely. I would say, No more than 6 hours.

Did she try to rub scratches i with a catnip? When UI got my cat a scratcher, he would not use it atall. I took his paws in my hands and did show what to do, but he was not much interested, neither, so I then start sprinkling catnip over the scratcher, and eventually my cat start playing with it, especially if he was in a mood to play and no one had time for him.

This video is cool! The only thing that caught my attention was 4:10 Not only do they not like complete darkness, cats actually can’t see in it like us. But they can see if there is even a little bit of light because of the Tapetum Lucidum which is basically a mirror in the back of a cats eyes which reflects light so their retinas process it twice and that is why cats eyes glow, that’s called ‘eyeshine’

I let my old cat free feed, she lived a long healthy life and we would re fill her bowl 2 times a day. If she eats the first thing, and if she didn’t eat it we’d re fill it once. So she could eat when ever she wanted but she got in to a routine. Eat in the morning, eat at the afternoon and then if there’s left overs from dinner on Monday, (we have roast dinner on Sunday) we will mix that in with her food. We also would mix in left over salmon, and any meat really. Only small amounts because it is unhealthy to feed them table scraps too often

I actually do some of these to be fair though my boyfriend had started free feeding his kitties before me and my kitty moved in his one kitty is a grazer we know she is eating but not when so it’s easier with our work schedules to leave the food out all the time but we never over fill there bowls we only put enough to cover the bottom. I also allow my kitty boy to free roam in the car for short trips and I have his crate for long trips he is very well behaved and he’ll curl up on the front seat and won’t move unless he wants to look out the window or curl up on the floor he never climbs in my lap unless I am stopped at a drive thru
