Great video, I would have liked to see Capro Darkside and solution finish, but glad you did dlux and perl. Darkside is the stronger/longer lasting version of perl.

Can't wait to see how "Flood: Penetrol" stacks up. I'd be curious to see the blowtorch method, too...although that's also difficult to get an even finish.

I use Cover All on plastic and trim seems to stay a good while.

Flood penatrol is great stuff $11 at Home Depot for a quart it’s like a wipe on clear coat. Same type of product as boil linseed oil but made with synthetics. I used it to protect metal mostly some guys use as a patina protection I also use on wood after staining it block air and moisture so metal loves it. Cheap clear coat that self leveling. It’s like a wd40 products tons of uses

Man that marker! All they need to do is take the marker dye and add it to their product or an applicator to make it able to spread even and consitant..Add some hydrophobics to it and you have a product!

As a child I witnessed my uncle spray painting plastic trim black. Sounds stupid, but honestly I watched him do it many times. Just a lot of news paper, and tape to mask it off.

Not surprised with the Meguiars ceramic restorer tried it when first came out wasn’t impressed with it after applying and trim wasn’t that bad, I like a lot of Meguiars stuff but this is a dud
