Would you try a completely new product without knowing what's really in it and how safe it is for your health (to install it/handle it)?

Hell no. Not only from a safety standpoint (most important), but I can only assume that the average consumer has lost their sense of smell with all the bs being thrown around now! Strictly for suckers, gotta say. Thanks for the red light Scott :)

Can-coat lasts over a year. Given that it cost about $40, and the professional installation of this new product will probably be >$1500. I just prefer to use Can-coat yearly, which will also waste less time than going to an annual inspection.

A cool dive into product research. I always start from a place of skepticism. I'm still not currently convinced on graphene's value. It's just a tiny bit of graphene mixed into a ceramic coating.

I don’t have a CHMM certificate, but I’d look at the potential hazards like this: both graphene and borophene stay as solids under nearly all conditions with the potential for human exposure. So I’m not particularly concerned about the safety of the person initially installing the coating. Most of the danger there comes from the solvents used to carry the material, which is potentially problematic for many coatings, graphene or otherwise. *That said*, the risk comes into play if the paint needs to be corrected and dust is created during polishing. More than anything, I’d recommend wearing a well fitting respirator that is certified for use with stuff like asbestos that is an airborne particulate. Again, I’m not an expert and if you find better information, I would defer to it.

I just had the owner cold call me - and tbh - I’ll never support that business. I asked about down to zero testing and what makes the borophine superior to everything else and he went off. Talked down to me, said I was uneducated, and I don’t know what I’m talking about. I said - I sell a service - not a product. I want something I can sell that is going to last the test of time if I don’t touch it again. (Currently using CCI - solid sediment suspension coating) 44% life at 7 years and that’s their “failure” point to them. Most companies will say 10 year coating when there’s .05% life left in that 10th year. I never heard of this company, or coating. Thankful for your video to prove what I experienced and avoided. He’s selling a service as a product - trying to snake people over and get them to invest. Shameful

Appreciated the thoroughness of research on this "new" product. Wasn't aware graphene products could be so hazardous (I've not seen any "walmart class" consumer graphene sprays mentioning wearing sspirators or other breathing protection). Sounds like this "hard" coating's like all the rest and cannot resist carwash abrasion.

The warranty requirements are almost identical to System X. You have to have an additional layer added within 30 days of the anniversary of the install to maintain the lifetime warranty 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ That was one of the many reasons I dropped System X, plus as with most companies their warranty is just smoke in mirrors.

Thanks for the info. Several years ago I looked into using a boron powder to coat bullets for high powered rifles to extend the useable life of the barrels. The boron powder was supposed to reduce friction(slickness) which in turn reduced heat and made for longer life. Very interesting how much non-information there is available.
