265. A Vintage toilet collection and a flush from the 1926 Devoro

My grandparents had a massive green toilet in their house when I was a kid. The tank was I think five gallons and when it flushed, you could hear it anywhere in the house. They eventually replaced them but I can't remember why. The toilet in my house has a plastic tank and typically has to be flushed twice to get a clean flush. I miss the old stout toilets of years gone by. Sure, they may use a little more water, but they could probably flush a dead body.

When I’m in my late teens early 20s my local Salvage yard has over 1,000 toilets! And they have good stuff like a Luxor vent away 3 of those they have a bunch of forward traps and a lot of color toilets too
