That's the nature of opening packs. We do the guaranteed hits in those boxes so that at the very least you pull something worth $25+ and we have chase cards up to $100+ at average retail value.

i mean, thats like 99% of cracking packs though. The only attraction to me of these is to get a variety of different packs that in theory havent been fricked with. at the higher price points though, it seems almost always better to just get a box of something instead.

@@hitboxsportscards Then the prices shoudlve been lower. This is probably the biggest hockey card KZbin channel, period. Not a good showing. Even if he had bad luck, that was a 20 dollar big hit and 70 bucks ish worth of packs in the premium, that’s 180 bucks margin (that’s not even including the fact that the contents of the packs are worth far less than the 70). It’s one thing to have bad pack luck, it’s another for the packs themselves to be worth nearly 1/4 of the price, and the hit being worth less than 10% of the price. Not even the WORST pack should be that bad.

Besides these just being lazy repacks of people buying a few hobby boxes, this is just not good value. If you want to just gamble on hobby packs go to the LCS and get you some packs.

I thought the Allstar box would have some better packs. Synergy, Allure, Artifacts, Skybox in the Premium box is pretty brutal when mixed in with newer Flagship and not much else. Pretty underwhelming for sure.

Looks like they are well packaged, and to their credit, not weighed packs, but the price point is simply too high. Could buy a couple of SPX hobby boxes for the top tier price, and have multiple guaranteed autos, and other relic and numbered cards. If there were packs for possible McDavid RCs in there, maybe. ZeeRee, thank you for opening, but not recommending either way. You gave it a shot, and let the viewers decide.

Boxes were not that great pack wise. I mean, all we see now is more of these random selected box makers trying to sell and profit... even the most expensive box didn't have anything like spa packs, best packs allure trilogy and platinum which all yield low value cards

I agree with the older packs. Trilogy aside, I don't feel swapping out OPC for a recent offering of Artifacts and Allure is worthwhile since it just came out. The guaranteed hits have a much better floor than other boxes that do this.

Hey all. First, thanks again to Zeerees for checking out the boxes. Second, yes we misjudged the All-Star box pretty badly. We built the boxes from our initial stock and didn't have the premium packs that we should have for it. The first official batch goes out May 1st and we will have 2016-17 series 1 in these boxes, alongside SPA and Trilogy as premium packs.
