I got out of the hobby in 1990. Came back last year. Let’s just say I am not feeling like chasing cards much. They are charging more, giving you less and the good hits have more of them out there. The ones really getting screwed are the small card shops that get stuck in the middle.

Seider and Raymond are redemptions 😭 the crop is so good and has tons of upside. The price is just annoying. I remember buying Boxes of 19/20 for 100 bucks in June of 2020. 😂 take me back. The McTavish FW helped a bit though.

Zeeree your concern is warranted! Upper Deck just keeps watering down their products including this one. This product is way over priced. Upper Deck is heading for another junk wax era, you would think they would have learned.

I opened 5 boxes I got what you call fecal matter lol for all my FWA and they were redemption to boot. My big pull away is I got an Ovi Pageantry Auto. I was pretty stoked about that at least.

Exactly what you said about the deluded chance of hitting a FWA (Future Watch Auto) since these are the true rookie cards in this product. After Young Guns, these are the most collected rookie cards in the hockey hobby.

To me the new SPA feels like the 1999-00 SPA considering the inserts. I do get the complaint about the price but I do not understand the tirade about autos. In the early days of SPA you only got one, just one, auto per box plus some inserts. No FWA autos, and really bad rookie crops.

I hear everyone complaining about the price, but everyone keeps buying it for the set price... It's like I keep telling anyone who will listen. Don't buy it and the price will come down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean they already took 1 auto hit from the product and raised the price and people still buy it.... Anybody ever wonder why Panini puts 4-5 auto's in their no license products... These card companies are just raping people out their hard earned cash and 90% of these cards will be worth squat 5 years from now!!!!!! The card companies have bills to pay also. If the product is not selling they are forced to lower prices and put better content in them in the future. Nuff said... Ty for sharing Zee....

Upper Deck knows they have basically full control on the hockey card market. Leaf and anyone else doesn’t come close and they know that, so what do they care? They’re watering down everything and will keep doing so because they know there’s nobody close to competing with them and it sucks

SPA has been always my favorite brand. A couple of packs to open, great design, decent inserts, on card autos, value for money. Now it is way over priced, terrible and worthless inserts, no value for money, nothing but a lottery. Unfortunately you can say this about more or less every Upper Deck product now. It is a pity.
