Just a thought you don't have to make a jig. To make a smaller area for the tail you could. Use a shell Or something to that effect off to the side and make a mold of it God bless have a great day

I love your work. I love rays. We often vacation in NSB and we visit The Marine Science Center at Ponce Inlet. My son said last summer during the vacation after meeting Sting rays, he wants to be a Marine Biologist. The Conch Shell is pretty cool. My son is only 11 btw. I was so thankful to watch your video making the stingray mold. I love the detail. We're thinking about moving to Florida. I don't mind the humid weather. Better than NY LOL. ooh I love this conch shell. I have only been experimenting with resin for about 3 months and now totally addicted. My other crafts have had to take a back seat. Also just had a look at Temu for the brush cleaner after seeing it, they have them so have now ordered one.
