gale - soldier's damage is so weak. meanwhile - almost doubled next top dps doubled everyone else's dps

is weak comparative to the effort required to track target yes like fiddling a needle in a tiny hole yet venture close its eyes and get more value while it takes 0 effort to play :/ ... buff soldier by ~2 damage per shot and hes in a decent place without being overpowered ... I would reduce rocket cooldown by 0.5~ second as well

soldier constantly deals damage but has practically no burst, yes he will get a shit ton of damage but if you werent metal rank you would understand that damage doesnt mean shit if the damage isnt getting you picks

The problem is soldier has to land almost every round in his clip to get an elim and before that happens immortality saves them or shield gets thrown up and their dps just get healed up. So you get a lot of damage done but with no elim to show for it. Their dps burst you down fast then any random shot finishes you off. Soldier is not a great pick unless you can get yourself a really good Mercy pocket.

ik this is from 2 months ago but having that high of a damage stat is actually bad when you compare it to heroes like widow or tracer. both of those heroes almost always have an extremely low damage output comparatively and its because they have high burst damage. soldier only does so much damage because it takes forever to actually secure a kill on somebody and you have to do so much damage because theyre just getting healed up because his dps is so bad.
