One still image? Seriously? You guys can do much, much better. Shit, you don't even mention Picasso/the painting. NB- that could be your 2nd image- you would double the variety, just with that...

I don't agree with the suggestion that this is revisionist history. Figures have constantly been revised since the initial reports in 1937, with the vast majority of contemporary historians citing figures in line with the recent detailed research of Jose Angel Etxaniz. He has used church and cemetery records to identify people killed directly as a result of the attack (the 'up to 300' in the podcast) and the hundreds more who died as a result of injuries sustained in the bombardment. I realise I could be clearer about that in my narrative, but I have not sought to 'rewrite history' or downplay the scale of the destruction.

What is false? What other sources did you read (and videos did you watch) and what did they claim?

Guernica was a military base on the front line, and the raid was requested by the Spanish government.

Errrr as Spaniard that lives near guernika I can tell you that you are a lier..... Where was the military base in guernika if they only had anti air raids bunkers and no AA guns and military when the air strike was begun?.....

@@alvarohernaez5689 Not a military base but the the republicans were using it as a communications center behind the front lines so the bombing was justified.
