‘27 Ford Model T Roadster RESCUED From Storage After 40 Years - Part 1 of Hot Rod Project

'27 FORD MODEL T ROADSTER PROJECT - VIDEO 1 - DIGGING THE ROADSTER OUT OF STORAGE - CAR SHOW
Watch as we pull this 1927 Model T Roadster from the back garage after it had been sitting for 40 years. We will tell you the story of pulling it out and show you how we did it. This is going to be the first in a series of videos featuring the '27 Model T Roadster.
This vehicle was purchased in the 70's by Bobby & Kathy Presley (my wife's parents). When they got it, it had already been modernized some, but it was by no means a hot rod. They drove it around town some when they could. Then it got placed in the back garage for storage as so many cars do. Well, 40 years later it is being pulled out of storage for the first time in decades.
We are calling the Roadster "Stitch." Why? Well, the day we took Stitch out of storage, it was June 26th or 6/26. The character Stitch from the Disney Lilo & Stich movie was called "Experiment 626." Therefore, this project has been deemed Stitch by us, but I try to call it the "27 Model T Roadster" or the "Roadster" when I am talking. But you might hear the name Stitch come out every now and again.
This first video of it being pulled out will be followed by several different videos in the coming months. One video will feature Bob & Kathy Presley, as well as my wife Kristi. I got them on camera and asked them some questions about their memories of Roadster back in the day when it was being driven.
After this interview video, I then plan to post several videos of us tearing the Roadster down, and then building it back up over time. This has been a long process, but it is finally starting to look like a car again. Hopefully, it will be on the road in 2024.

Cool project. Looks like it was built as a hot rod many years ago. Definitely a Model A frame. Looks like a small block Ford engine and C4 trans. I’m in the middle TN area. Would love to take a peek at it sometime.
