27 Harvesting and selling fresh crops from the garden with my Thai husband in Koh Lanta Thailand

Today we are harvesting and selling fresh crops from our garden and learning about the life of a farmer together with our kids.
During covid Mon started a big garden with lots of fresh vegetables and herbs and today it is time to harvest the sweet potatoes. We have so much that we cannot eat it all ourselves so Mon choose to sell it around the island and teach the kids about growing vegetables and the value of money.

You may already know but you can eat the sweet potato leaves, it tastesike spinach., you can grow them in large buckets. Crush up eggshells and sprinkle around plant to deter snails. Remember your sweet potatoes are organic and home delivered so more expensive than supermaket

Harvesting is great ❤️ Good soil brings the best harvest.My Family,relations and parents are Farmer in the Borneo Island.We plant Padi @ rice,black/white pepper,corn,cucumber,all kind of fruits and we work so hard.End of the day it bring great reward.We don’t buy fish,vegetable and rice,we plant our own.We have big river to catch fish fresh from the nature.We live surrounded by thick forest jungles.No internet,No entertainment,No electricity.The goverment supply Us solar power and it only last about 5 hours depending on the usage.Sometime use Candle.Water supply straight from mountain fountain.I’m indigenous from Borneo Island.Live in Kuala Lumpur past 26 years. ~ Love Your Channel so much 🥰

May I suggest you to have ur own brand.. As organic n export to value added market in Japan.. Australia n even to Europe... So much hard work with So much less money does not work unless you are a billionaire.. In Emquartier mall in Bkk or in Villa supermarket they sell sweet potato more than 200baht a kg... Some even more than 400bajt a kg
