I always wished I learned how to braid when I was very young like most of my Haitian, Jamaican and African friends but better late than never. It is really a great skill to have. These aren't braids these are twists.. Braiding is a lil more difficult. My sister learned how to cornrow earlier than me .. took me forever but I taught myself and now I do hair and I'm way better than her lol practice makes perfect :)

I think she does that because with the kanaekelon strait hair it keeps the twist tight longer. Otherwise when she gets to the end and let's go the twist will get puffy. With the Marley hair you don't have to burn. Hope that helps
