For any really soft/loose polygel, if you stick it in the fridge or even a cup of ice water, it’ll make it a bit more firm for a little while until it comes back up to room temperature so you get some more time to work with it Edit: I just got to the end where you mentioned that haha I always use Makartt cause I like the firmness but I had some polygels when I first started that were really soft but I didn’t wanna waste it

OKAY, BUT QUESTION I got a poly gel nail kit a while back ago and my clear poly gel is absolutely runny. Not only that, but it does NOT CURE! Would sticking it in the fridge still help or did I get some bad poly gel?

If you want some super basic advice for a nail that’s lifted like that from an og of loosing fingernails (and toenails) bc of trauma and accidents; #1 get a cushiony bandaid but cut the sides off (length wise) if it has adhesive stuff on the sides. Also make sure the bandage part is big enough that no adhesive stuff from the sides of the bandage part, stick to your nail. You may loose the nail or it may grow out, but either way you want to keep that nail on as long as possible. It will protect the bed which is more comfortable plus you always want to keep from doing damage to the bed. (my mom got her finger torn up as a child and her nail bed got damaged, she never had her nail grow back correctly. It was all gnarled like tree bark, very funky.) So the cushiony bandage protects your nail from being knocked and pulled, and your nail bed from further damage. And by making sure you don’t let any of the sticky part of the bandage touch your nail, when you change it, you won’t be pulling on your nail. (My 1st damaged nail at 5 was ripped off bc my grandma taped it down and it pulled off when she got some bandaids and took the tape off.) Hope this helps!

I stumped my toe once & a few days later the whole nail fell off! I FREAKED OUT! Then went online to see what would happen but didn't really get any satisfactory answers. Anyway, it ended up taking approx ONE WHOLE YEAR to grow back. I'm in Miami Florida, so sandals/open toe shoes are pretty regular. But i was so embarrassed i couldn't wear open toe shoes for a WHOLE YEAR! Long story short, your nail will take a minute to grow back. But it will grow back. And recently i saw a KZbin vid showing how they made a toenail w/acrylic or polygel.. So it's possible to cover it while you wait... Also, you made me get into doing my own nails. I love it. It's so fun but i'm still in the 5-6 hour phase of just finishing one hand. And i was only comfortable using dual forms, but in the last few weeks, i've done 3 nails with the paper forms! One day, i'll graduate to trying acrylic. Can't wait! Also, i'll forever love your intro/outro "long hair pretty nails show" LOL

Girl, do NOT put a press on on that thumb. You could end up causing more damage to your nail bed by knocking it. Keep it clipped short until it grows out. Sorry, but it’s for the health of your nail. Your nails grow so fast, it won’t take long. 💚

I got a set with polygel about a year back where the slip solution spilled out on me, so I was trying to figure out what I could use when I didn't have what came in the kit. Isopropyl Alchohol is what rubbing alcohol is made of, but for it to be a good slip solution with polygel, it needs to be 70% or higher. My supermarket rubbing alchohol wasn't strong enough, so I ended up going to a hardware store and getting a 99% bottle there. It was also way cheaper at the hardware store than what my supermarket offered. Aaaaand I also use it to clean my glasses, clean things in my computer, it doesn't leave any residue, and cleaning other things that need to have a no residue drying.

Thank you so much for testing these kits that are for sale on Amazon. I shop on this site all the time (bc of the free shipping) but I dont have the budget try unknown named products so I stick to what works for me. I love your videos & thank you for all your helpful hints etc... you have helped me save $ on kits that aren't worth it, so a BIG THANK YOU for that...God Bless you & your family & thank you so much for your honesty & staying humble(that's hard to find by these days) You're Awesome so please keep your videos coming! 😊🙏❤

The same thing happened to my ring finger a couple months back 😫 I had long nails on and my dog was roughhousing and bent it back. It was soooo uncomfortable when water got under it

For anyone who can’t afford Kiara Sky’s nail drill MelodySusie has a cheaper alternative yes it’s around 100$ but it works and it has a display but it works, it’s super quiet I’ve had mine for about 6 months and it works great. Anyway love the nails and this video Evie 😍

😂 I have a feeling that the "take this review as a reference" part was a lot more severe and edited down to be calmer. 😄👍 Good on you, Evie! There is no way I could have been that forgiving and calm when telling people- 🤚😐 _THIS IS MY VIDEO; MY CHANNEL. If you would have done this review a different way, then do it YOUR way, on YOUR video and YOUR channel!_ Lol! 😂 Girl, you have some serious self control! 🙏☺

Whenever they write "warm tip" instead of hot tip. I always giggle like they tried at least. English is hard . I can't even imagine trying to learn Cantonese so...at least they tried. 🤣🤣

When you got the product in the right position at first.. if you flip your hand upsidedown for like five to ten seconds it will roll into an almost flawless apex then immediately cure .. flipping your hand over helps with the sidewall pooling with the looser gels..
