I had to fight and argue a lot for my parents to say yes. My mom says if a company accepts with my audition they will see what to do after that. I'm training myself to the best of my abilities. Everyone has that one hidden talent. When u audition utilize it. Your unique talent is what will make you different and thats why its important to hone and show it off at audition. what you consider weird or weak could be what gets you in.

I was planning on auditioning a few years ago but i would’ve been TOO young. my parents have agreed to let me audition this year and im pretty nervous. my biggest worry is that if i get in they’ll white wash me or give me an incredibly harsh diet. unfortunately harsh diets are a huge part of a kpop trainees life. so if you'd want to ease the pressure after you start your trainee life, you can start slowly loosing weight now by adapting a healthy diet and exercise.

Although if I was a teenager (as well as how I was back then), I was already training in singing and dancing (acting too), I may have made it to at least the second round. I think you really have some right words in the video. My dad is a taekwondo master, so he knows the meanings if it. Taekwondo is not just about fighting, but it's also about self control and thinking before acting, so when it comes to compositions, of course you need skill, but also mentality. Well, the point is that of course no one can always win, and if you lose, practice more to do a better job next time. He explained that, and so did you. I think it's very important thing to say, and a good meaningful one, and i have not seen much people think that, so i am very very thankful you mentioned it😭❤

I know how my dad is, so it's better to announce it once I will send the application form. My mom knows about it tho, and glad she supported me! As a white-british 16 year old who can’t dance for shit, can barely speak Korean and is far from pretty, I’ve decided to prepare myself to audition for jyp in two years or so when i go to university, not because i think i’ll get in or particularly bcs i WANT to get in, i’m doing it as a way to motivate myself to improve my confidence and physical health. I’m a strong singer but i have health issues that have kept me from improving my physical wellbeing in the past, and it’s meant that now i have the stamina of a sloth. What i’m trying to say is that, whilst i’m not even close to expecting anything to come of me auditioning, just the chance to do this for myself is so positive. Wish me luck guys i guess ahahha ❤❤

Uhm.. i want to share this my parents didnt grow up educated i wasn't alive back then to see the struggles they had to go through and i get their pwn perspective when i was 7 i moved to the uk also uneducated but when we first got a samsung tv i watched hip by mamamoo(sorry if its not spelt that way..) AND that's when i realised that's what i want to do for the rest of my life i actually didnt have a passion i had to go into school i was doing very bad my grades where horrible but kpop songs gave me joy to listen to when i had bad days 4 years passed then i had the courage to tell my parents i want to be an idle my mom wasnt happy ALSO WE ARE CHRISTIANS i dont think im supposed to be listening to music like this i asked myself is this really what i want to do? 2 more years pass i ask again my mom says no then 1 year passes and im still doing my thing honestly i cant with this im really mad even if i watch how to convince your parents to audition i proceed to do them but it doesnt work at all and i getting sick of this music makes me happy i dont want to get into kpop because of the fame and money its because i genuinely have a passion for music your guys are probably sick of my chat so im going to end it here god bless you goodbye.

SO I MADE THIS COMMENT ALR, TO REPLY TO SOMEONE BUT HERE IT SI AGAIN: so basically what i do is focus on four major things to improve:dance,vocal,rap,stage presence. For dance i would suggest learning as many styles as u can. hip hop,contemporary,ballet,afro,and ofc kpop. the more versatile u r the better. When i wanna learn a choreo i search up a mirrored video. then i watch it till ik the way it goes in my head then slowly add the steps. or u could always go to a dance class for professional guidance. usually when i learn choreo i use tutorials, but when i got more advanced i js learned of of the dance practices. but if ur new i would suggest FUJI unnies dance tutorials, trust me they help. but for vocal i would try doing vocal exercises. if you dont warm up put your progress in the trash. u could ruin ur chords if u dont warm up. dont go straight for high notes. it takes time. slowly build up to it. i suggest using cherryl porter vocal coach tutorials for this. and rap. idk. for this go with the flow. practice rapping in your own style. dont copy an idol. there already a idol that can rap that way, make ur own style. for stage presence facials is key. just take 15 minutes in the morning. practice your smile, and expressions. and make up a signature thing. like maybe a wink, or smirk. but have something that is original and you. also when u dance its not just doing choreo. u have to add expression, and sass, and emotion. sure if ur main dancer ur the bets dancer, but another person could have better stage presence. i wish u the best for ur audition, and i hope u pass. do u wanna be friends? i could give u my insta or snap.i could share some more tips.

YG is coming to my dance company to find trainees im pretty scared but when i waych this it gives me confidence i am just new to kpop dance and im pretty new but i will join cause if i fail i dont care and i want to show them what i have done in my dance class and get advice. If u choose any song that's not written by u, do u have to get a copyright first? like it's a clear case, if u would remix a song with ur ideas etc but if u choose any song for example a dance audition; do u need copyright from the actual artist? because those laws are pretty different from country to country...

20:25 love that! All the people who says you cannot make it because you are too old or a foreigner and that’s why you don’t hit those qualifications, is the reason you will never succeed in life. Strangers on the internet cannot give you an answer how your future will gonna be. People just focus on those damn 4 companies and they think when they have some limitations when it comes to auditions, they automatically give up, because they don’t realize that they think that those 4 companies only exist. They are out there 1000 of other companies from small till big. No one can say which companies is looking for what. The only way you can find out is to audition for more companies and not just fit your favorite company. What is really your goal? To be a part of the K-Pop company and really become a passionate artist, or just to cry after your favorite company because they didn’t accept you? What’s the real deal you want, THINK 2X! If you really want to become a Korean Artist on stage then do more than just try to give your favorite company attention. Try often as much as you can to audition and dint give up when you got rejected. Sure to make it in the industry is very hard, but the most idols why they really got in the industry is because they believed in themselves and didn’t give up when something didn’t work. The hell what should I say? I turning 21 in October and just starting out. Why? Because I listen to much on any people who said I don’t have a chance because I’m "foreigner". If a Russian girl who comes from Europe (Nova X: In) and American girl (Nvee from black swan) can make it as a foreigner, then I can make it too. Maybe I sound all of you delusional and give to many hopes. But to be honest, I’m not dumb, I know what the consequences are in the K-Pop industry. I don’t give much to "hope" I believe in myself and know I can make the impossible possible, and I always did it. So be the type of person and show your confidence in K-Pop audition, not that you want to see your Favorite idol. But because you want to be that person from heart.

I started dancing kpop at the age of 12 ofc i didn't know that we can do audition too but few months before i get to know that we can audition but.... im very scared to tell my mom cuz ik she will not support me for this im indian and in 10th grade now. This really helped! I’m not sure if I want to be an idol, but I still have time to decide. I’m still a pre-teen and I am in school. But I don’t know if I can do it because I’m a doubtful and shy person. I’m also very clumsy and my dancing skills and rapping skills are horrible.
