Now kpop is expanding more trying to find new talents, and that means global groups too with diverse races so here’s some tips for everyone In my opinion, learn the basics like for dancing, at least hip-hop, also you can venture into the dance community to find free classes, learn from a friend, or see what uni offers stuff. I’ve had my k-pop dancer friends learn at my uni even though they were in highschool since it’s open to the community. Choreography is good, but learning how to clean is better. Attending choreography classes teaches you how to pick up moves in an hour and clean fast, and guidance on how to clean. Hip-hop teaches you vocabulary and how to move your body and groove For singing i’m not an expert, but the biggest suggestion is joining a choir or a group singing community where you can get comfortable used to your voice if you can’t afford lessons (there is way too much gibberish on the internet that it may actually make you WORSE at singing) And lastly, the way my friends got more offers is joining dedicated programs (which cost money) that is training and then you submit an audition to judges who are partnered with them. My friends have become trainees from these programs. But since they cost money, they start getting a job once they’re legal and save up.
