Finally a story that treats mental health issues with respect. Most of the stories I hear here do the exact opposite. Usually the person speaking in the story jumps to negative conclusions about anyone who looks different or is homeless or may have mental health issues. It's really great to hear a story that doesn't perpetuate negative stereotypes. Please use more stories like this in the future and stop fueling negative thoughts about those who deserve compassion, dignity and respect.

The second story is sickening! Why on earth didn’t that crowd of people intervene? Once the guy with the knife had put it away in his pocket, why didn’t a group of the people watching grab him and throw him to the ground and stand on him? How could they just stand there and watch him walk away after stabbing someone? Thats insanity, pure insanity! No wonder crime is out of control when people will do nothing to look after themselves!
@jennifermcdonald54324 жыл бұрын
Vulture Quill You are totally right, however there were apparently quite a large crowd of people, who could have easily overpowered one man, quickly and safely, if they hadn’t all just stood there watching, or more likely taking pictures on their bloody phones. I think I’m just a bit cross that people won’t stand up for each other or help each other anymore. I realise that in the shock, by the time people got it together enough to do anything the man could have made it home and drunk a cup of tea, but I hate it that people get away with this sort of thing. I do know of course that these stories are fiction, but things like this happen far too often!
@jennifermcdonald543210 ай бұрын
@@ashwhit8052 So it’s an actual kind of group paralysis kind of thing? The thing is I remember many times when people DID help each other, stick up for the underdog. When did it change? Im Australian, 67 and while people didn’t live in each other’s pockets, they were always willing to help out, speak up for each other, even put themselves in harms way for strangers, well a bit of harm, you know you’re not going to charge a gun, but you’re not going to stand by while an obvious injustice takes place! the one about the mistaken identity was horrible.. legit like the employee and the manager already told the jealous ex that he does not know the woman and honestly it was ridiculous how the jealous ex did not get it that he was gay and not into girls like that..I don't understand why nobody called the police..the story would have been better if they did also I feel so bad for that employee

Girl with the weird father in law. Does anyone know if she updated us?? I know the story is old since I've heard before but I'm curious to see if she's left the guy or if the guy decided to leave his father's house.

Young girl with the boyfriend ... you need to start listening to Dr. Laura or reading her books about relationships. Your boyfriend will never have the life he wants until he cuts the umbilical cord from his father. You however, will never have the life you want period.
