It is in the half of 19th century malankara church came to contact with antioch. It is with reformatory mar Athanasius of palakkunnathu went to mardin and got ordained as bishop. Thereafter in order to counter that reformation malankara had to seek antioch's help. Thus the antivhisn relation came to existence.

But pls refer the reason for the Baptism at the age of 8 the year is due to waiting period for the bleeding of the mother of a baby or as you explained the cloting time for the blood of the baby. In Florida hospitals, the circission is done on the 4 the day. There is no cloting problem of blood. May God bless in your endeavour. I love you in Jesus.

Every churches have its own heads, in Kerala churches malankara orthodox church has it head catholicose, in jacobite Syrian church has head, patriarch (these two churches has independent now and has its own head),other independent orthodox churches has it's own head weather eastern or oriental, even protestant nature churches such as marthoma church has head metropolitan Bishops, CSI and CNI ,Pentecostal churches such as IPC,TPM,Church of God etc has it's own head Catholic church is the one church so it has its own head 23 eastern catholic churches and Latin rites church

All Christian's believe in Bible. Roman or Catholic Church is not seen mentioned anywhere in the Bible . But see Acts.11:26 wherein it is stated that Jesus disciples assembled at Antioch and were first known as Christian's. The church of Antioch is mentioned at several occasions in the Bible. It was emperor Constantine who was instrumental in forming Catholic church around 323 BC. The Bible compiled in the early centuries after Christ witnessed no existence of Roman church. Hence Catholics cannot claim to be the original church as Orthodox Church.

The icons have been commely used in eastern orthodox churches or Greek orthodox churches. It's orginated and propagated by the Byzantine Christians. Neither catholics nor oriental orthodox churches have the icons for veneration. In present scenario all the churches use the icons. One more deep defence you could mention between catholic and orthodox churches. The life after death is important to explain the spirituality of the communities. The Catholic church believes in the concept of pargatory but orthodox churches hihighlights the aspect of devinization. In the core both are not much different. Still they understand the experiences of the soul after the earthly life in a different way. After all these aspects are not applicable for the Indian orthodox churches. Because they have accepted Antiocan faith only after fifteenth century. Until then, Indian Nazranies have been used Chaldean liturgy for worship. The Chaldeans were not involved in catholic or orthodox disputes at all.

But in India itself there are three independent catholic churches( Latin, Syro Malabar and Syro Malankara) are existing. They have similarities in faith, seven sacraments and moral teachings. But the liturgy, traditions, spirituality and administrative system are entirely different among these churches. When we discuss the church history, you must not forget how liberally the catholic church tolerates the independency of sister churches.

Catholic church is not the oldest or the original church. It emerged only around 324 AD by the efforts of emperor Constantine. It is evident as there is no mention of Catholic or Roman church in the Bible. But see the Bible Acts 11:26 stating that Jesus' disciples assembled at Antioch and were first known as Christians. Hence the Orthodox church of Antioch is the real and original church and will remain so as long as there is Bible. In Kerala Catholic church originated only after the Diampore Synod of 1599 organized by Portuguese invaders.

AD 451 ൽ ഒരു വിഭാഗം അതിൽ നിന്ന് വിട്ടു പോയി. വിട്ടു പോയ വിഭാഗം അന്ന് മുതൽ ഓറിയന്റൽ ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് എന്നറിയപ്പെടാൻ തുടങ്ങി. എന്നാൽ കർത്താവ് സ്ഥാപിച്ച സഭ അവിടെ തന്നെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. വീണ്ടും ചരിത്രം മുന്നോട്ട് .
