272: Post Festival Updates - C7000 Ride Along, L&M Sugarbush, Chicks!

Wrapping up a busy time of year for me, my weekends will open a little for more projects as firewood season ends, the festival is over, and barn projects start calling!

Great road trip with old yellow. We started tapping today at my boss's house. Still 2 feet of snow here. It looks like a great show. We have a huge maple festival here in our nearby town. They close down the whole main street and we usually get 25000 people for the one-day show. That shoot-out reminds me of our opening day of deer hunting here. I just tuned in because I saw the word chicks in the title. I was kind of disappointed but they were still cute.

Project yellow rides again. That maple syrup festival is a big deal there. I have a lot of sugar maple trees in my woods. I should contact someone about tapping some trees.

Tapping and boiling can put you in a sticky situation. Be careful.

The maple festival looks cool! We are just finishing up our maple season. It's been a good year for sap and the trees are still flowing but we have had enough for this year. I will have to go back and check out project yellow. Looks interesting. Take care Logan!
