That was the realest intro. 😘 I'm actually really proud of you, Corinne, for saying out loud the few things you don't like about pregnancy. Embrace the duality of loving AND disliking parts of parenthood at the same time. Sabrina, girl. Sorry the depresh has you in it's grip and pleased you share it with us. Best to both of you.

Fabulous episode!! Love, love, love your podcast. The story about the La Casa de Bruhouse (sp??) was super!! I was also intrigued by the disappearance of Dr. Grinberg. I looked up some info and found out that the doctors wife also disappeared exactly one year after the doctors disappearance. (Article is in Wikipedia). Keep up the great work!! You both make my job enjoyable because I get to listen to your podcast all day!!

The line takes a while to disappear so be prepared, also most relatable ever. Don’t feel sad that’s how I feel/felt too 😅

I love how real Corinne & Lizze Gordon from The Sip (& her vlog channel) are about their pregnancies. The women I typically hear talk about their pregnancies like their a goddess/mother-fucking-nuture & how wonderful it is to be pregnant & every moment is a blessing & they've never loved their body more blah-blah-blah. Those bitches be out here straight up lying lol Pregnancy sucks & its ok to admit it, it doesnt mean you love that child any less or that you're not grateful for them.

My pregnancy wasn't bad at and I actually didn't find out until late in my 2nd trimester cuz I had no symptoms. BUT the birth was brutal, long, and traumatizing. A lot of people will have rough pregnancies but beautiful births too.

@Corinne that line fades away, don't worry! Look at it as your baby's racing stripe to the finish line! The first gifts my kids ever gave me are stretch marks and saggy boobs. Not everyone is lucky enough to grow a baby. Try to love what your body is doing, it's magical!

Santa Muerte is the unofficial folk saint of Mexico. Her name means holy death and according to some she is an Indigenous death goddess combined with the idea of saints from the Spanish Catholic colonizers. Her followers are extremely devoted. I bet thats why the Mexican Catholic church is threatened by her continued popularity. If you're interested do some internet digging, she's fascinating.

The lot where John Wayne Gacys house stood has a different home on it now ... Its still really weird - the address is off so that its not technically associated with the murders in records but everyone in the area knows why the address doesn't go along with the rest on the street. The vegetation surrounding the new structure has never really thrived and it looks just kind of ick (probably from all the quick lyme he used in the crawl space under the floors). Now, in terms of the architectual value of this new house... its absolutely lacking - its definitely different than the rest in the neighborhood but not in a better way - at all. You'd think they would've at the very least tried to improve aesthetically on this new build...nope! Not sure if the place is haunted but... 🤷‍♀️ I live in the area obviously and its weird to think that on the streets I drive on he also did his hunting on. Also, in a different time in my life way back when, I got the privilege haha to spend the night in the jail he was booked and held in initially - its was weird but I dont remember anything super weird happening, it was just unsettling thinking he could've had his depraved ass on the same metal slab that I was so kindly given to lounge on that night. Anywho, I just had to share bc of the mention of his old home in this episode. Happy hauntings y'all! 🖤🧡

Awwwww, the dark line is a milestone of pregnancy. Try to embrace it. There’s this really weird phenomenon of missing being pregnant once you’ve had the baby. I don’t get it but I went through it with my pregnancies. But cut your body some slack, you’re invoking a miracle! 💜

I'm super fair skinned and my stretch marks from two pregnancies are pretty bad, my little guy is about to turn 5, the marks are fully present still definitely not as angrily red and purple as they once were nbd the ruining of your stomach is kinda inevitable especially if you go onto a 2nd and beyond baby, sending my 🖤 and positive intentions

If you’re looking for a great mystery/thriller/paranormal horror you have to check out The Book of Cold Cases by Simone St.James. I know you loved The Sun Down Motel but Cold Cases might be my favorite of all her books

For the sake of clarity, Santa Muerte is not a person, so much as it’s a spiritual entity held up as an object of devotion. Saints in the Catholic Church are actual historical people. So “Santa” is a bit of a misnomer. While people who are baptized Catholics follow this entity, Santa Muerte has never been a part of the actual Catholic faith in Mexico. It’s separate of, and has never been Catholic. So… to say that the Catholic Church changed their mind about this entity doesn’t make any sense. In addition to that, this folk belief is HEAVILY and openly practiced by the cartels and their followers. A lot of law enforcement have detailed records of pretty violent criminal practices attached to the rituals surrounding Santa Muerte. It gives a bit more context as to why exorcists felt the need to do what they did. I hear behind the scenes stories of what Santa Muerte devotees actually believe and do and generally … it’s not pretry
