Root is absolutely amazing and now has a genuine shout for being the best test batter of the generation. But where's his century in Australia. Lets be honest until he gets a 100 in australia none of his runs matter
@nikitamohan33902 ай бұрын
If he can't help England at least draw the Ashes in Australia and not get pummeled in Australia, then ya all his test runs don't matter. And he struggled for runs in Pakistan after they finally had the brains to switch out their road pitches for actual spin friendly ones where the ball grips a lot more.

cos young indian batters coming thru the ranks are far better players of the pull than their aussie counterparts, and that tactic would spectacularly backfire on australia..

about the joke on whether pitches are naturally dry and turning in India: yes they, still are. The fact that it rained a week consecutively in Bangalore and the pitch was constantly under covers is what led to the dampness that led to pronounced seam movement/bounce, not to mention that even in domestic cricket it’s known to be the most seam-friendly wicket due to the weather we usually see in Bangalore for most part of the year. An average “natural” Indian wicket is still dry and slow great pod, though, missed y’all 😭❤

i love the way higgos described the current indian team and the change of the australian side if they go on to lose this BGT. i mean its so true. I kind of want australia to lose as i feel like they need a new batch of players to build up the team which as you said of a ageing side. i feel like bold decisions need to be made on more back ups. i feel like australia actually dont have an actual backup for players and no clear player lists or BGT yet state that.

Wasted Saturdays started strong for me 2nd ball duck (horrid shot) to a kid going at 8 rpo until half way through my third over smashed for 16 off 3 proceed to slip with trying to throw a ball back in twist my stomach (which I didn't know you could even do?) and hobble around for the last 3 overs Only good part was a deflected throw in onto the stumps for a run out.

31:00 I mean Virat is not what he used to be We only have bumrah as reliable bowler as shami fitness is in doubts and siraj is siraj. We still don't have 4th seamer which we can have confidence. We don't have our no.5 bat Rohit is usually been mediocre in australia. Jaiswal has shown talent but it's his first series. So we all have concern don't we.

44:00 this constant speculation about Australian batting order is kind of infuriating. There are only two options really: if you want strong batting, have Marcus Harris open. If you want a real all rounder in the team, have Marsh open and Hardie at 6. Former is the sensible option and later is the more exciting one. Bancroft is in poor form and Konstas is about as old as Khawaja's son- none of them will do
@imranmirza79812 ай бұрын
Harris averaged 25 in 26 test inns with 3 fifties and no tons. Not good enough.

I reckon Smudge is cooked. He should retire. Not even doing well in the Shield. Looks like the hand-eye cordo is gone and he should replace his bat with a walking stick and head off into retirement...Most his dismissals recently have just been him missing straight ones... But I guess i could be wrong and he could get 100 every test this summer...
@akshanshmadan-pg4wq2 ай бұрын
The insinuation that playing on Spinning decks in India is unfair even though most recent test decks have been absolutely class is just shameful coming from you guys. And if you are saying that Aus doesn’t use the home advantage for their bowlers you are absolutely wrong. Wr have all seen how pace and bounce plays a big role for any travelling country to Aus. But bring it on. Juice up your decks. This Indian team will take any challenge head on. They might be bruised by NZ at the moment but they are not down and the comeback will be stronger.
@jude3052 ай бұрын
Well your pitches look like and are objectively shit. Cricket wasn’t made to have part-time blokes bowling unplayable sliders on day-two tracks. Aussie wickets have something in it for everyone over a 5-day match, unlike shitty Indian wickets. If you want the ball to roll, play lawn bowles💀
