I always love seeing Joey Diaz on the Joe Rogan experience. Not only are the two great friends but their chemistry is almost unrivalled, I also have a deep appreciation for Joey Diaz as a person. Joey Diaz is the person that convinced me to try stand up comedy. He told me that people who wait around, are just waiting for life to give them an excuse. I tried to catch my train and a crack head was across the parking lot yelling "you took my fucking shoes".I panicked and speed walked my ass to the train I got on the train in a panic and the train started moving the wrong direction. I got on the wrong train... So I stayed in Toronto 1 more day to catch a different open mic the next night. And this is where I realized I can't do comedy. Because I sat in my hotel and waited. And waited. And waited. I counted the wrinkles on my nutsack about 80 times. Just waiting for that 5 minutes on stage. And then I bomb and have to do that all over again? It's pure chaos, and it's definitely only for a certain type of person. Brutal.
