This episode is 5 months old and I didn't know till now. YT doesn't send out notifications like they're supposed to these days. Yeah but I LOVE when Joe has Joey on. Joey always got the best stories, he's been places, seen a lot of shit in his life, met so many people. Joey Diaz is the person that convinced me to try stand up comedy. He told me that people who wait around, are just waiting for life to give them an excuse. People say "I would but I broke my knee" "I would but my grandma sick" "I would but I just started a new job" Life gives you excuses and you can make the choice not use them. So I did comedy that same weekend. I did terrible, it fucking sucked. I really hated it. But, I did it :)

@@dimirockeropoulos6104I stayed in Toronto for the weekend I did comedy. When I tried to get to an open mic the first night. I tried to catch my train and a crack head was across the parking lot yelling "you took my fucking shoes".I panicked and speed walked my ass to the train I got on the train in a panic and the train started moving the wrong direction. I got on the wrong train... So I stayed in Toronto 1 more day to catch a different open mic the next night. And this is where I realized I can't do comedy. Because I sat in my hotel and waited. And waited. And waited. I counted the wrinkles on my nutsack about 80 times. Just waiting for that 5 minutes on stage. And then I bomb and have to do that all over again? It's pure chaos, and it's definitely only for a certain type of person. Brutal.

Joey pretty much described exactly what all us disabled veterans for this country go through every day. Now imagine how we all feel especially when we know who sacrificed the most for this.
@lazylion4207 ай бұрын
no one cares how you feel. we're embarrassed for you that you joined the military in the first place. getting yourself injured or killed for a country and for politicians who don't give a shit about you was your first mistake....

Propaganda is a helluva a drug. My entire life the recruitment process says one thing, while how the brave men & women who serve r treated says something else. Especially when we examine the modern moments when the powers to b consider putting them in harms way over political strategies. Then in addition, we see how many r treated back home after they require support due to their sacrifice. Its a sad fact of life. Recruitment preys on the poor with limited opportunity & those lacking experience outside of a limited scope. Where as, our society should truly appreciate the sacrifice millions of fellow Americans make in order to maintain a draft free military.

Man, I have been a joey supporter since 2018. Listened to the Church, got to know Ralphie, Bobby Lee, Theo Von, Tom and Christina, Joe Rogan, Bass Rutten, and so many other people. When I learned he was releasing a book, I got it on pre-order and read it in 2 days. I live in Ohio and sometimes see him doing meet and greets at book stores, and I'm just trying to get the schedule to make the 11-hour drive. I think the reason I love this guy so much was that he statistically wasn't supposed to make it. He made tons of mistakes and is an example of how life isn't pretty all the time. In spite of that, dude has an amazing family and is slowing down to spend his time with his good friends, and I respect this man for unashamedly sharing his story.

@@4345ghee I think his constant complaining about so called wokeness has ruined the show. If he believes it’s true why not have some of these so called wokies/leftist/socialist/communist on to call them out. That’s what old Joe would have don, but new Joe hasn’t been the same since he had the mayor of Austin or the governor from Texas on(forgot which one it was but watched the whole episode). It was insane that the politician told him you come here you vote one way and that’s the way it should be. That’s a little weird to me considering joes politics then and what they are now and how he CONSTANTLY pushing them onto guests.
@callmecloud84727 ай бұрын
@SuperTrippygamer joe has said in past episodes that alot of the "mainstream" "wokies" he tried to get on would refuse. Joe has always invited people that he's truly interested in. He wants to have fun first and foremost. Followed by learning something new from people he respects. Yeah Joe talks about the "wokie" issues alot but he's just talking. He has no leg in the race. If anything he would bring on 2 respectable people to debate. And Joe would steer the conversation.
