Hello Granny Pat from a lonely widowed subscriber in Florida. I am going to be 68 yrs old in May. My late husband and I ate out a lot. He's been gone for a little over 2yrs now and I've yet to eat out in a restaurant alone. I finally pushed myself to try a solo dinner out just this past week. Well Granny Pat...I felt so very awkward that I couldn't eat my meal. I tried my best, however ended up asking for a to go container and pkged it all up and took it home. We did not have children, so I am literally alone. I said all that, to say this...Thank you Granny Pat for sharing your life stories and life in general. You give me hope and inspiration to go on. I look forward to your posts and enjoy all your content. I consider you my friend and love your sweet soft spoken demeanor. God bless you Granny Pat 🙏 ❤ 🙏

There’s nothing you can tell me that I haven’t been through except that I have children and grandchildren. Only two out of nine I can count on. I suggest you find one of the Senior Citizen Organizations nearest you and join. Even these take time, but they are there for the same reason you are - loneliness. I consider you ‘Young’. You will eventually feel at ease among the group. They schedule special programs. They even plan tours, short and long. They are nice. They plan luncheons too. I, too, go through drive-through fast food places. It is no fun eating alone. It takes effort, but you can do it.

Good night Granny Pat! Your video did not bore me one bit. I find you to be a very interesting and multi-talented woman. I feel privileged to be able to hang out with you. Putting that lamp together makes you a wizard in my book! Your roasted vegetables and salad had my mouth watering. I think I will try it as soon as I can find a pan I can use for roaring…maybe a cookie sheet. I personally do not mind your stories that are sad. People that shy away can be warned they might need Kleenex lol! The story about a quadro plegic Who you agreed to help care for has stuck with me ever since I heard it, I found it to be touching, compassionate, and really, just so moving. I cried, but to me it is a part of life. I have found your resilience to be inspiring.. please keep up the wonderful stories sad and funny. They’re all a part of your life and I love them. Good night! 🌙zzzzz

Comfort comes first. I look at those pretty high heel shoes in my closet and think about how nice those days were. I keep them just for the memories.

@chitchatwithgrannypat7900 Thank you! You know what we used to say, " IT takes one to know one." Sounds immodest, huh! However, it comes from my heart.

Go through my ‘kitcheny’ videos. They reveal my style of cooking. Large family, lots of biscuits/gravy, potatoes, meat at most meals - beef roast/ham/pork chops, etc. Vegetable dinners in summer with fresh vegetables. My stories reveal our family life. Start with stories beginning January, 2022.

My nephew and I were in Kentucky a few months ago, near Ft Knox. We could see the helicopters flying over all night from our hotel. He went for work. We took his oldest daughter with us and I went to entertain her-she did most of the entertaining, she’s almost 3. Everyone we met was very friendly. I fell in love with the lady who worked third shift at the hotel, she was so much fun to talk to! I usually watch your videos early into the morning today was 4AM and I sure wanted to make me a salad and roasted vegetables but I resisted-for now. Thanks for all of your great content❤

New subscriber here. I love your channel. You are a very special person and bring me peace and a good chuckle in each video. I also love your kitchenware, the Corningware and great Fire King jadeite green pieces. What a nice collection! Have you talked about your collection before on a video? Would really enjoy that! Thank you very much for sharing yourself with us. 🦋🌷🌸 - Robyn in Minnesota
