Pretty intrepid explore -- I'm willing to bet that most folks wouldn't continue up steep, rotten, rat-infested ladders as high as you guys did. I kept expecting ya'll to turn around and then was pleasantly surprised when ya just kept going. Remember Sharon, the Rats are more afraid of you than you are of them. They will normally run away, and I can't say I have ever heard of a Pack Rat attack.😀 You think this was two mines, and old one and a newer one joined, or it was the same mine, but mined at two different times?
