Well done Ms. Ellis. I am a LEO and have had the privilege of attending Police Week three times including the candlelight vigil and that ceremony. I hope the officers standing to the left and behind see this video and are embarrassed by their actions. That is not how we show respect to our fallen brothers and sisters nor to you during your performance.

Every man, even the most modest, leaves a trace behind him, his life touches on the past and reaches the future ... Death comes quietly. Unannounced, uninvited. He never has the right moment, he is always a guest not on time ... nothing more certain than death. Nothing more uncertain than her hour. The eternity of the dead so far lasts, where the memory of those who we love, never die, because love is immortality. To love - it's so easy, goodbye - it's so hard.

Hey all the cop haters out there. Think just for a couple seconds if your father, mother, brother or sister, aunt, or uncle or niece or nephew or a friend was an officer and was killed in the line of duty would you mourn their lose or feel for the family left behind? I do and will always respect those that do a job I wanted to but couldn't due to my eye sight, even so when your being attacked or robbed or are in an accident who's the first person you call? Thats right the police. A moving and wonderful tribute to a officer taken from us.
