I read about diamond batteries in an engineering magazine, it said they emit very low amounts of power over a long period of time, not enough to power a car or laptop, but enough for wireless sensors in stuff. They are powered by decaying nuclear waste. I think it might be possible to power computer RAM with this to make it not erase without power...
