when you took the air box off the black cover has that little red flap in the winter you put it in the position so the heat from the engine on the fly wheel goes into the air box and in summer you put it in the other position so no heat gets in and thats why it runs so crappy in the hot weather

Project Farm didn't invent that.... And I know I probably didn't either. But, I never heard of it before I tried it back in the early 90's when I took an old 3/8 socket extension and cut the female part off, and grinded it down to 1/4" to fit in an old corded drill we had. Had to duct tape the socket onto the extension. Old two stroke lawnmower, couldn't get a replacement recoil starter. I was about John's age then, I'm about double that now..... It's a great technique to clear the cobwebs out of a motor that hasn't run in a long time.

You can buy a new replacement carburetor on Amazon it's an after-market it's really a lot more adjustable than that piece of crap that's on there now they're only about 12 to $15 and if you have Prime you have it on your doorstep in 48 hours I know that's a little consequence for this show but in the future and he can CrossFit them over to Briggs and Stratton 4 more tunability on mini bikes go karts in that kind of s***and have guys have fun love the show.😎💣

Tecumseh engines were decent engines, I have a lawn mower with a flat head 3.5 hp Tecumseh engine that I bought new about 30 years ago. I have a large yard and use a lawn tractor for the majority of the mowing and use the small mower as a trim mower. It is decently cared for and runs perfectly, usually starting on the first pull. I wouldn't call it a power house but they are a decent engine if cared for at all.

I rode one of these yerf dog go karts yesterday, and it’s really fast! Being a small go kart with one wheel drive and a new carburetor. It belongs to my auto tech teacher. But man, that engine is small and somewhat terrifying in my opinion!

Hey guys! I have a request. Can you guys show us how to make a Go Kart out of things you can buy at your common “Home Depot” or “Lows” store (or your local equivalent), from research and design to purchasing materials and building it, all the way to synthetic numbers to real performance, as well as a comparison and possible “upgrades” (really just better parts, but you understand what I mean). The main thing I’m asking is for you guys to build the frame and make it work for cheap, although I understand that you would more than likely have to use most of your industrial grade equipment such as welders and stuff to make most of the parts work together. Thanks! ~TL;DR They should make a go kart from only things they can buy at their local hardware store!
