its amazing to think that the 50 motor yacht is genesis for all the amazing flush deck yachts that Hatteras built. i'm surprised that it doesn't get more attention in the boating world.

This is great. The Hatteras 28 had water jet drives and was the idea for creating the PBR boat from the Vietnam brown water navy. Wish they still made them

Great film for an exceptional boat. Too bad Hatteras does not make any smaller yachts as they once did. In today's market of fast "sneaker" yachts, Hatteras could not compete on price and therefore stopped producing cruisrs under 70 feet. These old Hatts are battleships that can take a pounding and never fail. Having grown up on one and been out in the Atlantic in 12 footers, I can atest to their teutonic fashion as they push through the waves. Classic in design and simply timeless.
