I worked 28 hours in one weekend with DoorDash & Uber Eats to see how much money I could make. I didn't expect to hit $1,000, but did I earn it anyway?

I’m beyond jealous of you. I deliver in AZ and can usually get $200-$225 in 8 hours. Which isn’t awful. But seeing you get $300+ in the same time is wild. Then when you made $500+ in a day. I wish I could get that lucky lol

@@PhoenixDeliveries NE Ohio about an hour from Cleveland, 15-20 minutes from Youngstown. Armpit, small city, blue collar, a ton of no tip orders. Thankfully Spark in my area is really good, I live very close to a Walmart, and I have a FT job. Enjoy the videos and content, keep em coming!

As a UE driver in Scottsdale, I could immediately tell that’s where this vid took place. Dude, awesome content! I came here looking for validation on signing up for DoorDash, didn’t even know the catering only option was a thing but I’m beyond intrigued. Seems like the perfect fit with uber. I got it without having to do anything. It’s actually the only catering order I’ve ever seen or gotten on Uber eats.

Look out for Walmart orders though. I get $100-$200 Walmart pickups oftentimes.

Hey Jacob, do you take any orders to keep your acceptance rate up on Doordash? Or do you just pick the best orders? I'd like to multi-app like you, but I feel like my acceptance rate will tank, and I'm totally unsure if that matters or not.

Still working the same area as you in North Scottsdale, with a 18% acceptance rate, have not made over $45 any night this week working 5 hour shifts 5-10. Uber eats I have made $12 or less each night. Acceptance rate on UE is 4% now. Ride share has been so bad this week I just kept it turned off as well.

Man DD needs to stop playing and verify my bag so I can get large orders more consistently. I’ve only gotten a couple since becoming Platinum but I do see orders that pay as much as those kind of orders

That’s so interesting that the bag hasn’t been verified yet. I don’t think I had to go through that process. One day I just started receiving the orders

Actually the fact that you are even receiving catering orders, means you are mostly likely verified. Just call customer support and they will tell you if you are. Also does DD ask you to take a picture of your bag after arriving to restaurant or at any point when you are on a catering order? If so you are should already be verified . Being LOP does not guarantee you will get several of them every day. Some days you may get 1 or 2 while other days you get 3 or 4 and then there are many days you will get nothing. So it all depends on if there are any catering orders at all or how many LOP drivers are driving at the same time as you in your zone. Do not sit right on top of high end restaurants waiting for a catering order, as DD often will ping you for those orders when you are further away from them. I myself, mostly get LOP/catering calling me from 5 to 7 miles and last night even had one that was 10 miles away from me. That 10 mile order was 1.5 miles from customer and only paying $11 as there was no + after the $11, so I refused it. Also not all LOP/catering orders pay high $$. It just means the customer ordered a lot of food and/or the total of the order was over $100 If you are not getting many catering orders, you can changing zones and see if that helps, as there may be less LOP drivers in certain zones than others. @@vikings7683 Yeah I’m aware LOs are based on subtotal and they’re not always good. I’m pretty well-informed on all of DD’s programs but Platinum has me scratching my head and I won’t know for sure until the message that says “must equip catering bag” goes away. I’ve contacted support [even a supervisor] countless times with no luck. So I got DD’s catering bag to see if anything changes. Just waiting on it to get here

How are you able to deliver full time on DD no longer being a top dasher? I’m my area you pretty much have to schedule ever shift. Can’t do dash now unless the area is busy or if you’re top dasher.

Try to only dash during peak hrs 11-2 lunch and 5-9 dinner. If you dash any time during non peak hrs or if map/zone is grey you will get many low paying no tip orders. You need to have more apps and use them when DD is slower. Otherwise it is very hard to raise your AR. Do not rely on just DD or any single app, to make your money. For me if I get 2 bad orders in a row, I switch DD off and use other apps until DD is busy again. But being my AR is at 82% and I only dash during peak hrs I rarely if ever see no tip low paying orders. If I do, like I said , I will turn off DD and use other apps, until they are busy again and/or I will move to another zone that is showing busy.

Why do you think i never get uber eats orders?? Ever. I talked to support, they said that all my stuff is good to go, no blocks or anything on it. I'm in Charlotte, nc. I make pretty good money on door dash..I can only imagine how good I'd be doing if uber eats was flowing. Also, do you pause door dash when you're on an uber delivery? How do you work that?

You can pause orders for 35 minutes.

Uber Eats might not have a lot of customers in your area or it may have different hot spots than DoorDash. Yes I typically pause myself on the other app when accepting an order

DD has been awful in my area the last couple weeks at least. I've been relaying on Uber which isn't great either. Anyway your making a killing bro good for you, I ordered a DD catering bag after watching. If you can reply can I let them know I have it and how to do so. I meet all other criteria
