If I can make a suggestion; Hearing it with -다 and then -어요 -아요 would help a lot. So we can easier practice speaking and see how it is spelled in the colloquial form.

This doesn’t seem as helpful because people don’t usually use verbs in the infinitive on every day speech. It would have been helpful to use an everyday sentence.

Imma be honestly, these very rare verbs and expression are extremely helpful since I know ALL basic verbs used for expressing basic need and I think I am either Upper beginner or Lower Intermediate, and these expression is extremely helpful in explaning small details in everyday life

agree 😢 I can’t remember this because we seldom talk about it with Korean native speakers or the other learners

This is really useful, thank you. When learning new Korean words I come across so many obscure ones I would rarely use. These are really good ones to remember!

wait can someone explain the difference between 이불을 펴다 and 침대를 정리하다?
@randi4321 Жыл бұрын
I was wondering the same thing
@icecreamspls Жыл бұрын
I wonder if it's something like: 이불을 펴다 = spread out the bedsheets (in the context, maybe before sleeping) and 침대를 정리하다 = make the bed. 펴다 relates to spreading out something and 정리하다 is for organising something
@alliramsay1328 Жыл бұрын
@@icecreamspls I wondered that too, or if the first means like "make up the bed" (like putting on sheets after you've washed them) while the second means "make the bed" like after sleeping.
@clairekie Жыл бұрын
이불을 펴다 can be used for any sleeping area, not necessarily a bed. since many people sleep on mats on the floor instead of a bed, you would use this expression for any sleeping area. but 침대 is specifically for a bed

After the 10 level of ttmik, what book should i learn? Is there any order for other ttmik books?
@ameneamini88 Жыл бұрын
@Dystopian Space Saga thank you. Actually the ten levels are not too hard, it took me around 8 months, not daily studying, but i think if someone can study daily it would be less than that.

… hey !! I have a question if you or anyone could help me understand. I can read Korean pretty well… I try to read everything so I can get faster and it becomes second nature, even though I don’t always know what I’m saying. I bought the three books but the one I’m referring to in particular is the 1100 Short & Useful Korean Phrases … because I couldn’t find this particular pattern structure, unless I overlooked it … but the very first two pattern structures that I familiarized myself with were the -예요, 이예요… saying this is +noun… but I stumbled across 이건 (noun) 이야, 이건(noun)야… so like me saying 책이에요 - this is a book, 이건 책이야 - This is a book.. what’s the difference between those two pattern structures ? Is it saying the exact same thing ? THANK YOU TO WHOEVER RESPONDS !
