Hi can I ask for some advice I’ve got a staircase to paint and it’s old white oiled based atm and they want it painted in waterbased white satinwood I know you use Johnstones paint spindles and they want a black hand rail what undercoat do you use because I don’t want the black hand rail to chip tia Jo

@@darrenyates4820 Zinsser bullseye 123 or 123 plus. Both are available in a grey, but I’d advise having it tinted to either the same shade of black or ask them to add some black to grey just to make it darker.

Johnstones Trade Aqua Guard satin. The primer was Zinsser bullseye 123 in grey
