I have been super excited to see your reaction to the end! Let me tell you a whole bunch of stuff! First, without spoiling anything, yes you technically do get something for completing the photodex, but it's not gameplay related and it's super underwhelming. I still hope you do, even if you don't go for diamonds for everything. Second, besides requests, most levels now have new things in them. No spoilers, but you will want to play through every stage again without a doubt, even if you don't end up wanting to complete every request and finish the photodex. Third, course score. The course score is essentially if the professor rated every single picture you take while doing a run and added it together multiplied by the amount of different pokemon species in a single run. This is also why the game maxes you at 72 pictures, a high score mode. Next, the new areas, the wastelands and river, alongside the secret side path you unlocked earlier in the game, are the DLC levels. Unfortunately it was the only content added to the game post launch, but they are definitely my 2 favorite courses without a doubt. Also, consider looking up a guide to unlock all the secret paths you can take in every level. The one in durice is super hard to find on your own, and there are other paths you missed throughout the playthrough. Once you feel stuck with the last several pokemon, please don't hesitate to look up a guide. I never would've found about a dozen pokemon in this game without a guide telling me how to find them. Congratz on beating the game! :) There's no reward for finishing the dex other than a comment by Prof. Mirror, some stickers and a lot of fun along the way :P Here's some things you could do, from easy to hard: 1. Check out the new/left courses 2. Find all alternate routes (highly recommend checking snowfield again, there's huge alternate routes, but you also missed some smaller ones on other maps) 3. Find all Pokémon that are in the game 4. Complete the Photodex 5. Finish all requests 6. Get a complete diamond dex 7. Complete every map (i.e. find all the spots of each Pokémon on each map, there's a lot of hidden ones everywhere. You can see the progress by checking the maps in the lab) 8. Get all the research titles (there's some interesting ones such as finding all different Vivillon forms that are in the game or getting a lot of diamond photos in one run; warning: one research title is depending on other players which is quite impossible to get at this point). Doing all of this takes a few hundred hours, depending on how much you use the internet. And then you can still explore further or do highscore grind. So the options available are pretty much endless, my recommendation is to just play as long as it's fun :)

Since we made it to the last area I feel like I should give my top 5 photos that I've seen so far. 5. Weavile taunting photo 4. The Eldegoss photo 3. The Noivern photo 2. The Gengar photo 1. The Drifloon photo Probably some I forgot but that Drifloon photo was my favorite out of all of them I just thought it was the perfect photo.

I would focus on finishing all the requests and snapping a photo of every mon for the photodex (I wouldn’t diamond star EVERY mon since that can get tedious or unless you want to Nappy as it makes you happy 😂) but I think encountering every possible mon in the game is a cool idea! For example, Gyarados is in that mightywide river level but it’s basically impossible to figure out how to cause him to appear without looking it up online, I finished the game without realising he was even in the game
