STOP 👏🏼 GIVING 👏🏼 HER (and the place) 👏🏼 SHIT 👏🏼 ABOUT THIS PLACE KIDT BECAUSE IT'S EXPENSIVE, SHE DIDNT ASK YOU TO EAT THERE. Magal/Hobak are known for their VERY TOP QUALITY MEAT. Idk about Magal, but Hobak informs you that they have their own farm in which they raise their own for the restaurants. It's good quality meat. It's okay to not wanna eat here, go back to your AYCE 15-30$ with TRASH service and OKAY QUALITY MEAT. Enjoy it!! Just like how you can also enjoy EXPENSIVE kbbq. Gosh. She's just showing yall how TOP QUALITY KBBQ is, she not forcing nothing on anyone sisters!!!! ~ Same goes for sushi??? 7-14$ PER PIECE of sushi, the TOP QUALITY SUSHI. 🙄 Nobu, Hiroyoshi, Kabuto, etc.?

Yeah, 280 for 4 people with alcohol isn't that bad.
@Xentradi97
@Xentradi97 7 жыл бұрын
Gon Freecss ah yes. If it was just food alone without alcohol and desert prolly like 160-180 so about 40-45 per person. Not cheap but it's not too bad for a special occasion if the quality was awesome.

Except for few places. Argentina for example. Where cows outnumber men. And there I think you can get quality beef, wine and dessert for 20~30 USD, if not less.
@Xentradi97
@Xentradi97 7 жыл бұрын
They do have marblings on their meat in Argentina. Maybe it's not as marbled as those. But if it's half price or less, I don't know if it's that worth it. And marbling is overrated in my opinion. I'm more into dry-aged meat. It's got more intense flavor and is also extremely tender.

OMG! I just went to Magal for my birthday last week. This is crazy! I'm so happy that the neighborhood is getting this much exposure and love. Koreatown in LA is a fantastic district in a fantastical city. This was a very wierd/happy intersection between my real life neighborhood and my KZbin recommended feed. This was K-Town in L.A. If you drive out east to Rowland Heights (20 miles E of LA), there are easily 20 Korean bbq places that charge between $19.99-24.99 pp all u can eat. Quality is just as good as K-Town plus FREE parking ! Comes with banchan and Korean barley hot tea. You can Yelp these Korean bbq places, just search under Rowland Heights as the location.

Rofl. The amount of ignorance in the comments is ridiculous. Top quality a la carte kbbq is not cheap and cheaper ayce kbbq isn't always the best quality. If it's not something you want to spend then don't, instead of crying. $280 split in 4? Is not much. While there are 3 Michelin star restaurants charging $500/PERSON.

Bridget O hey, you’re my neighbor :) ya, I suppose that’s reasonable to say. NY’s minimum wage is one of the highest in America and it’s also an expensive state. I still think it’s far too much for any meal, but to each his own and i suppose those kinds of places ain’t really for just anybody.

b Low I've seen some Japanese BBQs in southern California, but I've never tried them. The food is priced this way, because the meat quality is very high. Those all you can eat BBQs have mediocre quality meats. Plus, there's a large amount of meat, so it's still cheaper than fine dining but more filling

Not sure if they are charging up for the high quality meat here... Korean people rarely marinate high quality meat, unless there are children to feed. Also, I am beginning to wonder if the owner / chef is Korean because the video showed 'Cilantro Salad. Cilantro, in Korean 고수, is a herb not native to Korea and is often avoided.

i wanna try this see if its worth it cuz 280 is more expensive than yo average ayce korean bbq. which ive had some really great korean food 4 about 30 per person & some not bad but good 4 same price. also have spent about 300 4 about 4 ppl at a Brazilian steak house & 300 at cheesecake factory 4 a meal & 1 cheesecake per person 4 6 ppl so spending that much dont really bother me if its worth. not that i would eat here daily or even on a weekly basis since im the 1 who pays 4 every1 280 meals r reserved 4 special occassions not just a reg night out. food did look good though not better than all korean bbq i have but i definitely have had that frozen meat that waa still good but obviously not the the best. only questions i have r is that 280 with tip included or 280 plus a tip. also is is a set price 280 4 a party of 4 or depends on how much u eat cuz my family can eat alot. been at a few ayce places not just k bbq either but weve ate so much that even tho the service is still good & friendly but u can tell theyre thinking like u still want 2 order more in their heads. but b4 i get hate or snobbish comments on how if u cant afford then dont eat here no1 is forcing u im just stating my personal opinion not passing judgement or anything like that
