280Z OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLE WILL NOT OPEN DOOR REPAIR

I just want to say thanks for this video. I had to change out my handle. Turns out, the metal where the rod attaches to the handle had broken. The new handle also came with a new plastic "washer" to insert the rod into on the top end, and it just snapped right in. The only difficult part was that the rod somehow got lodged behind the bracket it inserts into on the lower end. This video helped me diagnose and replace it the handle issue, and saved me a lot of time. Of course there was blood and cussing, but I got it done! Thanks! (ps. I used a little locktite on both the wrench and the threads of the nut to hold it in place when I was first putting the nuts back on. Made it easier with only one hand and how small a space there is to get to the handle bolts.)

hi i have a 260z with the same problem is there a way you can show how the part looks like when installed because i got a new door handle but my remote control rod has the plastic nut but no clip can i replace the plastic clip with a metal nut? and if you can can you show how the mechanism. Thank you
