Well glad the weather is ok for your visit to the western part of Pa. Right down the street from you, we go by that facility on any trip to the city of Butler. Just about 12 mi. south of you. Safe travels.

USS Homestead Works, had a Slab Mill & 3 Plate Mills...2 Structural Mills(beams and pilings), a couple forges, 5 machine shops, a 16 furnace Open Hearth, etc.Biggest Mill in the Steel Valley...Imagine the amount of Flatbeds going in and out of there, 24/7...a few Trucking Companies had yards full of trailers, by Hazelwood Bridge, and built a special road along the river. Yard Jockeys shuttled the trailers in & out, so the Drivers could just drop and hook...

Loaded many trucks in my day with an overhead crane, I always tried to pick up the load to clear the trailer, then move away from the trailer to make the lift, just in case something let loose. There is a big difference something falling inches verses feet.

The tow truck probably wanted to tow the tractor from the rear, it’s a lot easier that way cause you don’t have to pull the drive shaft before towing then.

Suppose you can make a video on how to secure a load on a trailer so that the load doesn't slide off when the truck is rolling down the road please?
