28mm Vikings from Victrix review and another new project

just a quick reveal and review of another project im starting for 2021 as if I havent got enough on the go as it is. these are such great figures and hope you enjoy.

Victrix are my favorite line of figures. I have similar issues with the spears, I always seem to catch them when trying to pick up the figure. I have plenty of repairs and limp looking spears. Aesthetically they are very pleasing, but functionality a bit delicate.

Yer I might have to rethink the basing for them or have them in movement trays as having them individually like this they are just to fragile to want to keep picking g them up. On multi bases I doubt I would have a much of an issue. 😁👍

Very nice mate. Check out Blood Eagle as well good for historical games but also have rules for Scandanavian fantasy.

Victrix make some lovely figures.It is a gripe i keep hearing the spears are weak.I would tend to replace them with wire or brass rod or something like that.I think they have spoilt a lovely ship for want of hapeth of tar.

Yer I agree that probably is a better way to do it with the brass rods. Its just a shame as the republic roman that I have from there have pilum and their are as tough as nails but these ones qnd the velites also with the romans are just to brittle.
