Those metal cards can be tough! I noticed the same thing with the front peel/no back peel on the 2012 panini gold standard metal cards. Def need to have one on the reverse! Nice vid as always LV. Don’t worry about rambling, that’s what we’re here for!

I agree about the Jackson’s. I tried sending them to SGC and they wouldn’t grade them either but they gave me a full refund on them 👍 I need to grade even more Wittens…incredible hall of fame TE. Thanks for watching! LV

I’d have a fit! It’s one of the big reasons why I say PSA is a scam! ScamSA! They aren’t out any money, they didn’t slab it, if it wasn’t graded you should t be charged! Metal cards & printing plates are always a no go for me on grading. Every ScamSA reveal you do just keeps justifying to me I made the right choice to bail on them in 2021 after 20 years of business with them…as always love your videos & content! Good video. I love the Witten stuff. There's not enough of his stuff graded. I feel like they should only charge like a $5 flat fee for each card like the Steven Jackson cards. That way they get a little something for looking at them, but definitely not the full grade price, because they don't go through the full grading process.

At my local shop there is a bunch of 25c boxes that are pretty good. They have lots of 2000’s #’d cards and refractors of all sports. When I go through them I see a ton of Topps chrome, bowman chrome, and Topps finest refractors of football players from the 2000’s (Mainly 2001-2008), but I don’t know a lot about football especially from that era. The only stuff I know is from watching you and Beyond The Break. I notice that you guys buy those kind of cards pretty often so I’m curious if I should buy any. What names should I look out for? I know most of the obvious QB’s, but I have absolutely no clue about TE’s or defensive players. I appreciate your help LV!

Oh man, I would love to look through those boxes at your local card shop! 👍 Sounds right up my alley. So many players to list…but I’ll just give you some solid TE’s and Defensive players to look out for :) TE’s: Jason witten, Antonio gates, Tony Gonzalez, Rob gronkowski, Travis Kelce, Vernon Davis, Jimmy Graham, Shannon sharpe. Defensive players: TJ watt, jj watt, Myles Garrett, Julius peppers, Terrell Suggs, Demarcus ware, Von Miller, Jared Allen, Dwight Freeney, Jason Taylor, Luke Kuechly, Brian urlacher, champ Bailey, Charles Woodson, clay matthews, ed reed. Those are some names of players you’ll find awesome cards of from the years 2000-2020. Happy hunting and collecting! LV

Charging you for cards they aren’t grading is crazy. It happened to me with a hurts numbered card. I resent the same card and it came out a 10. Makes no sense.

About what they did to me.. about a grade below on average of what I expected for my cards. I had a Brady base SP authentic 2002, grade a 9, then grade an 8 this time around 😂. That card I resubbed to get a more accurate expectation on what to recrack from my order. Because its pretty obvious its a 9 or a 10. I have some cards like those Jackson's. My elementary school teacher early 2000s, her husband worked for Sage or Leaf.. I would get cards for being good. I realized now they might be aftermarket because they say "P/P" (maybe a employee copy not released in product) on the signature sticker those early sage or hit autos had. Was wanting to slab them up but maybe not now (one was a Quincy carter, and Im unfortunately a cowboys fan🤣)! They def should not have charged you 65.. thats crazy. Thanks for the info and vid!!

Question for ya LV….I have a handful of 97/98 Kobe PSA 9 Topps finest with the protective coating on them. I have resubmitted about 80 cards to psa over the last 13 months as crack outs that have upgraded one or more grades. Would you consider cracking them out and peeling and resubmitting? If so I could see targeting these cards in the future on eBay or at card shows as a possible source of psa 10 upgrade revenue. Not sure if value decreases if they come back psa 9 without coating. If they look centered and no noticeable corner/edge wear on the back of card…then I say crack them out, peel them, and resubmit 😃 I always target psa 8 and 9 finest cards with protective coating still attached when I see them on eBay or card shows 👍 Good question, and savvy experienced thought. good question. I'd say top loaders. In my opinion, magnetic card holders kinda have more risk of damaging the card. Believe it or not, I find a lot of gem quality cards in old screwdowns, cuz usually that means the card hasn't been touched since pre-grading boom.

I don't get why those Jackson's are hand numbered? Really the only time I can remember seeing stuff like that is if it's a Topps Archive auto, like when they take a card from a few years back, get the auto and stamp it and then hand number... I know there's a few other re-release sets out there, but I don't think I've seen that on a non-auto card. Do you think it could be extra produced and maybe a staff giveaway or something? Anyways, thanks for the video!

Was this order from CA or NJ? Have an order coming back from CA that I was pleased with gem % on some cards that were on the fence. Steven Jackson’s: I don’t agree that PSA should be able to charge you the full grading fee if deemed possibly not authentic. At the very least, it should only be like $5 fee for grader time to assess. Being charged full fee is not right because part of that cost in my opinion is for the encapsulation which they don’t even do..

Thanks for sharing as always. Getting ready for football. I was gonna say Neo vid on PSA TOS. Kinda like bank and airline fees for nothing. Welcome to corporate USA. I did post link in Breakout cards discord otherday :) Only card i can really see it the Brady longevity the back centering is off and on front side near bottom left 1st blue line by his foot there is a chrome line going through, didn't see it anywhere else on card. Not horrendous grades just a bit tight. Can't really put the tin foil hat on as I wouldn't see a reason to pop control any of these. Any thoughts on the Star co basketball stuff, with the Jordan star rookie going crazy this week? I rememberd awhile back when you gem 10 a star card. Oh saw that short of yours with the dice/psa game...good stuff. Tc

Nope you should not be charged. They charge for holder and time spent which is 20 seconds. So they should have charged you a buck or something that is ridiculous to charge full and not slab. I would at least send an email saying my KZbin followers don’t agree. 😅😅😅

Brady refractor, from the video not only top to bottom but right side looks a little heavy too. The second Brady, for a split second in the video right above the red stripe on the right side it looks indented when the light hits it. Almost like something was sat on it and compacted that spot a little. IMO of course

Was watching a video on NEO Cards channel about the new changes to PSA TOS and one of them was being charged for when they have to determine authentication/altering etc. So it makes sense you were charged for those cards. I get their point of view as they had a grade spend time going over it to see if it could be graded. Maybe they should do a partial fee verse the full amount. As always great to see what you are grading!

HELL NO! They shouldn't charge for the questionable authenticity. If they could 100% prove they were not authentic maybe then charge. If they are unsure if they aren't authentic they simply chose not to grade. PSA is bringing in millions in profit EVERYDAY! This is theft. Sorry for the rant but it's just wrong. I looked for a way to contact you to see if you buy collections but couldn't find any way. Basically all raw from the past 40ish years over 100k cards. Let me know if I could contact and discuss.
