Have to agree with you Don. Johnny Mathis does have a great Christmas music voice. That Charlie Brown Christmas is a classic. Right up there with the Beach Boys Christmas Album. I like the foil covered edition. Slick. I love all foil related pressings. Seeing the Pee Wee doll reminded me to tell you about my Warner Winterland promo LP from 1988. I got one given to me when I was working my first year at Strawberries Records. One red and one green vinyl. Pee Wee does some very cool in between song banter. If you ever see a copy in the wild for cheap. Grab it. Fun to share a little holiday spirit with you brother Don~ Rob/Boston

Love the Christmas show. Johnny Mathis does have a great voice. When the Queen and I first got married, one of our first music purchases was, Englebert Humperdinck’s Christmas album. We play that bad boy every year every day !! Merry Christmas my friend.

I agree with you on that Johnny Mathis cd. I think the orchestral parts are cleaner on the cd. His voice is phenomenal on cd or lp. Haven't ever seen the Kingston Trio album. We had all of the Firestone albums growing up. Wonder where they went.

The Kingston Trio is a little different from most Christmas albums. No songs of Frosty, Rudolph, Chestnuts or Santa.

I seen a picture disk of that Hendrix a few years back. I hear that Zappa song in my head a dozen times ever winter😆. The first bottle of eggnog I picked up (and put back down) was $55 !!

Xmas 🎄 is not OFFICIAL until the Old Goat says it’s Xmas! lol I make my own Egg Nog for Xmas Eve, give it a try Don, it’s fairly easy, plus you get to ADD as much “Hooch,” as you want! 🤣 lol The Andy Williams album is amazing, I also love that Boston Pops record. Johnny Mathis does do the job for the holidays, it’s a great spin. I have a few of the Firestone releases. They are done well. Wishing you & your family a Merry Christmas season & New Year buddy!

wow, $400 is kind of steep for a concert. lol Dave Brubeck CD looks great. I think Johnny Mathis was a world class high jumper in college. I have that Duke Pearson record! Lotsa cool colored vinyl! Merry Christmas Don!

I like it when you show those reels. Don’t know why I do because I’ve never owned a reel to reel, but there’s just something cool about it. Where do you watch the Andy Williams Christmas shows? Or do you own them on blue-ray. Wow, I have no idea how you do some of the editing you do. My wife does not think the Ventures Christmas album sounds like a Christmas record. Or The Beach Boys. She’s too traditional I guess 🤷🏻. Merry Christmas Don!

I have Andy on my computer along with about 70 Christmas specials and about 15 versions of the Scrooge. I do have about 25 Christmas DVD's and Blu Rays.....yep Christmas nut. Andy's specials are also on you tube. Merry Christmas🍻
