Happy New Year, Mr. Wee Bob! Like a previous commenter, I recently saw your channel as you were extolling the virtues of Rebelle 7, 'subscribed' because I really like the way you experiment with the media, and went and bought Rebelle 7 Pro for myself for the Holidays! I am having such a good time with this, it is absolutely amazing! I've been using ArtRage for years now and it does exactly what I want it to do, give me a realistic painting experience using a digital art program. Rebelle 7 does that and so much more! It's like being given the keys to your favorite art supply store and print shop! So, Thank You, Mr. Wee Bob! Because of you, this 66 year old kid is having waaaaayyyy too much FUN!!!

Thanks for the great comment and I'm really pleased to hear this. It does make doing youtube worthwhile getting comments like this. I have downloaded ArtRage on my tablet but not tried the desktop version. Anyway enjoy playing around and have a great New Year.

Happy New Year Bob! The tip about recording is brilliant! Many's the time I wished I recorded somehow what brush I used, what Layer blending etc to achieve a certain effect.

Have a good new years Bob! I tell you what, on your recommendation, I ended up getting Rebelle 7 for christmas :) Cheers! Any chance you could do a tutorial expressly on using charcoal tools in R7? Id be very interested!

Hope Rebelle is living up to your expectations, I know it still has some bugs. Yeah I will have a look at the charcoals as it is something I have been playing around with, still haven't managed to get the results I want yet but I haven't done much with Rebelle 7 so far with the new paper heights it may make all the difference.
