The twist in The Grey was more that all along the group had been travelling closer and closer to the den of the wolf pack, not getting away from it.

Not just that they were getting closer, but that they originally crashed close to it, meaning the wolves were realistically defending their territory and not just carnivores made scary for shock a-la Jaws.

I think that the end of House on Haunted Hill made sense. You learn earlier why the house chose them, hence them taking their place in the ‘nothing’. Made perfect sense for them to then be in the shoes of the doctors.

Yep, good point! That, and the movie was wonderfully scary, with some seriously good acting. Famke Janssen did such a great job as the bored, malicious trophy wife, she had great on-screen chemistry with Geoffrey Rush, and I think the two of them enjoyed the heck out of their characters. Beyond that: it's he first movei I remember to break with the obnoxious "black dude dies first" rule, and, okay, they kept the "blonde slvt dies, hard-working honest blonde survives" trope ... still a fun movie.

The Necronomicon from Evil Dead is in the Vorhees house (yes it’s spelt Vorhees on the outside of the home even though it’s supposed to be Voorhees). The prop from Evil Dead was borrowed for the JGTH movie. Stephen picks it up and flips through it and the Kandarian dagger or a version of it is used to stab Jason in the heart and send him to said Hell.

Now I think about it youre right, it's the same thing they both lose what they went through the movie to protect, the only thing worse about the mists ending is he kills his son himself and then the good comes whereas it's the reverse in would you rather as she goes through hell gets the money then finds him gone

Bea chose to turn on the others and go to hell because she originally sold her soul/made the contract to save the girls life when she was younger (when Bea was her babysitter and they were in an accident) in the first place and seemed to love the boy just as much, so when *they* were the ones she had to sacrifice to fulfil her contract she chose their lives over hers and the others. Not because of 'young love' but because *she* loved *them* more than her own life.

13:26 Really, of all the horror movies out there y'all choose this garbage @$$ movie and that's coming from someone who loves horror movies that includes bad horror movies! The ending is so obvious if you use half of a piece of a sliver of a braincell pretty much giving away the winner before the game is even mentioned. I mean you only see one person in the beginning even tho there are like 10 people playing the game you only know why one of them is there, nobody else gets fleshed out, the kills aren't super imaginative, gory, or elaborate... They're fairly boring, so not memorable you can't help but unfortunately remember at least some of them. Not to mention the acting is ok at best and none of the actors (except for a few notable people) are like well known household names if they're known at all. I wouldn't be farther from recommending 'Would you Rather'... Just the little bit shown in this video is more than enough and possibly 7x as interesting.
