Saw you on Chris Do's podcast that my bf had on one day and knew I had to learn more from you. My bf has built a huge following over the years with many viral videos and he's encouraged me to pursue my own content this year. As a certified engineering nerd who didn't think she had any star quality, starting my channel has been a feat. I'm finally getting more comfortable in front of the camera and now can play with strategies for improving my videos and learning about virality. Can't wait to dive into all your content and your audiobook you just released. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and not putting every gem behind paywalls. 🙏

Back in 2018 I had watched this music video my wife had showed me from a brand new underground artist who was going extremely viral, and I instantly caught every element that made everyone (including myself) really enjoy it. I had a really great song sitting in my computer ready to be released, and I wanted a music video to go with it. So rather than copying that artist (because I’m very serious about my craft), I took those exact same elements from his music video, and I amplified them in my own very unique way, and after I finished making the video, I knew 1000% in my gut that it was going to go viral as soon as I dropped it; and I was right, it did, and with only a $200 budget to turn it into a little advertisement. I say all of that to say that you’re absolutely right Brendan (of course you know this, because that’s why you have a very successful company). Majority of brands skip over the deep research and fail to strategize, because they think the content is all that matters, when in fact it’s the context. I had a beautiful song and could’ve shot a great video, but by doing the proper research, I properly placed the content in a specific light by adding small specific details that carried it to virality. And that’s what I’m about to do with my KZbin content now that I’m finally starting my content journey. Thank you for these free gems Brendan. I’ll be ready to hire you to train me and my team soon 🤝

Sharing self notes Gold Video: 12m views, probably spoon feeding info. Video consumers, Movie goers, Moving image enjoyers. Visual Information download. Bronze Video: 130k views, probably for more imaginative viewers. Book readers, art, still image, audio. Internal imagery. use of personal experience or memory or imagine/ come up with own interpretation. Books can also be for info download. Movies as works of art. But this shows which is digested by who.. and what is digestable the most. Which mode of delivery packs the most punch/attention grab. And probably shows you how to use these delivery methods if you want to select an audience (Learners through Visual or Learners through Interpretation).

Also, the conclusion for Gold video is "It will..." and for the Bronze is "If you can...". So the visual journey for gold is guided. can have room for imagination but guided in a single path of A conclusion. Then the bronze is, Try... imagine, Then you might. It has more room for imagination, listeners can have different paths per imagined situations. Can conclude either to yes or no at the end. might have different answers in the end. Also it is harder to go through. because she let's you experience it/ imagine.
