Thanks as always for sharing. I always find it amazing that our journeys all have the same thread of underlying issues;) I really enjoy your honesty..I love seeing and hearing the hope in your voice. I think you are headed to such a wonderful destination. I loved that you mentioned your wife and family too:) so many times we get caught up in "you have to do this for yourself", which is very true, but for many of us, being the absolute best parent, partner, or spouse is a huge motivation too.

Thanks Pamela, I was exactly the same, this surgery was to be the last chance for me and when the weight started to come off hope returned for me too, ive had a smile on my face since surgery :)

It's amazing how the hope returns as we see the weight actually coming off. I know for myself I didn't want to get my hopes up too much in the beginning because I had "failed" so many times to lose weight. As the weight came off the hope returned, and now I feel confident I will get to goal one day! You are doing so well, keep up the good work! ~Pamela

You are changing your life Grim. Cutting out negativity is key to this journey. I had to actually delete a couple subscribers because every video they made was filled with sadness and despair. I want to support them and try to be a positive force but hearing nothing but sadness just triggered me. Glad you are making such a strong stand to focus on the positive. I loved it when you said you can see a future now! So exciting.

i do not think you know how very special you really are! your heart is as big as all outdoors! the journey is a long one-- so just keep riding the train until it stops at your station - I always say-- what choice have you but to keep cooperating with the journey and you will get there - YOU WILL! i processed so much inner stuff during my WLS losing phase- my future seems brighter everyday- I feel like I am growing younger every year! miracles do happen! Path? :) = rambling!

235lb loss in such a short time is absolutely amazing graham, i couldnt be happier for you! Congrats on all the nsvs with the shirts & car & walking. You will be in the gym before you know it=) Love your positive mindset about this journey & not letting the scale dictate it for you. Great point about the bullying, ive been there many times myself & its time we take our lives back!!!

Grimm U r doing soo well and I'm glad u r back from the dark side! That is a place were no one should dwell...I do understand how u feel when it comes to being happy about any weight loss at all b cuz like i've said in the past, its a journey and its gonna b for the rest of our lives! So we have plenty of time to lose. Keep setting those goals that keeps u motivated!

woo hoo you have lost me in your weight loss!! LOL That is just Wonderful! Rob Reno is a very motivational person I love to watch him. Darn right if you are losing even 1/2lb every week that is better then a gain. I have to say I love your accent, I know you're from the UK but where abouts are you?
